M.1st time at Rebellion. Definitely not my last Loved it , had a great time , the bands were great , the atmosphere was great and everyone enjoying it. The bar was well stocked with a surprisingly good selection of beers, ciders etc and the staff including the security guy had a good sense of humour.
Everyone one friendly and easy going . Looking forward to future events. If a band needs some photography happy to help.
p. s.Partners disabled and was looked after really well. Good communication with Jordan.she came out 16 minutes early and took us in to avoid the rush etc. Venue is what you'd expect for a band venue. Toilets were clean. Bar has reasonable prices. Your up close to the stage and can get close to the bands.

Z. G.Good venue space, bit of miscommunication which wasn't great.. we were waiting out in the rain for over 30 minutes, Google said open from 6pm,gig originally started open from 7pm.
Bar is quite small for large crowds like London Calling, limited selection, but still something for everyone.
Toilets are being renovated, mixed loos and urinals in same area, and had disabled access portaloo.

J.It's a great little venue, nice layout with stage area at the front, dedicated merch kiosk, comfortable seating area to the rear and a dedicated/enclosed outdoor space for smokers, staff are lovely, gigs are great. I can't comment on the beers cos I don't drink it, the cider is nice tho. Currently having issues through no fault of their own (Northern Rail did emergency works apparently and trashed their cellar and toilet areas) I don't like portaloos, but they're making the best of a bad situation and I'm personally very pleased that they haven't closed down as I've been to some brilliant gigs recently. Rebellion is a credit to the small music venue scene in Manchester, a proper gem. When the works are completed, it'll be back to 5* I'm sure.
J. D.Ok to see bands play, limited refreshments at the bar just had coke tasted dire undrinkable and not cheap. The toilet situation although not down to the venue needs to be urgently dealt with. Very nice staff.
D. _.Great venue and great acoustics. Excellent visit for Morbidfest. Disappointment being that first band was on as doors were being opened, meaning c 75% of folk in queue didn't see them. Very poor planning.

S. M.Welcoming atmosphere, beautiful décor, very clean. Has a newly refurbished beer garden with seating and the drinks and lovely. The music varies in rock/metal taste so there is something for everyone. You can see live bands from around the world or local bands. You can book your event/birthday there as they are very accommodating.

B. O.I saw Nervosa here, and it's a small but very immersive venue, with a relatively small capacity. The facilities were adequate, and one could get right up to the stage. The venue is situated in what I would consider to be a slightly dodgy area, but once you're past the security you feel safer than ever. Overall a good venue, with a pleasant atmosphere, as far as I'm aware.
D.There is potential in this place but need refurbishment and sund was horrible , too much base masking singers voice !
R. L.Saw Guns or Roses. Great cover band and a good venue. Big gripe though, they shut the bar at 10.02 pm when the band was still playing saying that had to prepare for something later that evening. Poor.

M. R.Been to a few gigs here and never had a problem. Beer is decently priced, private covered smoking area and there's a dancefloor aswell as a bit further back where you can sit and chat if you want. Great place for a great night.

C. D.I’ve only experienced Rebellion as a dnb venue but i’ve had good experiences, drinks are expensive as you’d expect of most clubs but it’s a cool venue. Sometimes the smoking area gets pretty squashed.
J. H.Great intimate venue for bands. I saw Midnight Eternal, Null Positive, Imperial Age and the show stopping Thereon. The sound was great for all 4. Exceptionally well balanced. It is a small stage but quite easy to get a front position. It was also easy to meet the artists afterwards. Drinks expensive but it is Manchester! Also the venue is just by Deansgate train station. Negative points - Toilets were disgusting and there's no excuse for that.
P. S.Good, small, intimate venue. Excellent view of the bands with a decent PA. Draught beer selection is surprisingly varied and very reasonably priced.

S. C.Great bar and venue!! Rebellion is championing the rock/metal live music scene in Manchester. I have seen a good mix of fledgling bands and established acts here and they don't skimp on the line up with often three or four acts (not to mention the all-dayers!)
When no bands are playing I find it is great place to catch up with mates, play some pool and as the night gets on jump on dance floor no matter how bad you move because no one cares! I would recommend checking this place out - I like it!
C. W.Absolutely the best rock club ever - bands and events on all the time, including all-dayers and some big names too :) A lot of the band nights are free as well, which is never a bad thing, as it leaves more money to spend on the excellent choice of beers!

C. B.Great venue, well set out and excellent PA system. Just a tip on parking, there is some on street parking locally, but if you are prepared for a fifteen minute walk, you can park securely at The Manchester University car park for two pound on an evening.

G. H.This is the best rock venue in Manchester. It is the home to many regular rock, alt and metal club nights and boasts friendly staff, decent beers (Trooper!), a good sized dancefloor and a great stage. There's even a smoking area you can sit down in.
Very close to major bus routes and the Ritz, it practically sits on Deansgate train station and there's a designated taxi rank outside. You've no excuse not to visit.
