I've wanted to visit TANDO for quite a long time now, after first visiting around 4 years ago, and what a great place. Lovely grounds to walk around, some great people to talk to and best of all, there's general work to be done there which enabled me to indulge in my hobby of wood splitting & making firewood. It's the perfect getaway for followers of the lifestyle and I can't wait to go back.

We found the Tando campsite via a Google search of campings to possibly stay in the area. One quick and friendly phonecall made sure we had a place to park our minivan for the night. The campsite is a nice and secluded area with clean and practical facilities, a private owned patch of forest, lots of options to sit down and relax. The two dogs that we own, were possibly welcomed even more to the site than ourselves. They even had treats ready for them 😁 on top of all this, its affordable too. 100% recommend
