J. W.Best music venue in Plymouth by far. For once we’ve got decent artists coming down here regularly. Really brought up the nightlife scene to where it should be. And finally a suitable venue to replace and improve on what the hub once was
D. E.The Depo staff are amazing. I attended the Alan Fitzpatrick event back in October and it was amazing, great sound system and nice space to party. The bar staff are great fun and the atmosphere is fantastic. I have also had the privilege of performing here and the stage setup, sound, equipment and stage management was outstanding. Really welcoming and has a nice area for artists to chill without any stress.

N. R. (.Attended a Hospitality gig at The Depo for the first time. Was an amazing experience. Bar staff were so friendly and the queues for the toilets weren't even that bad!
M. B.I've been here twice now since it's reopened with the new owners and I really like the venue. Would advise to bring hearing protection. Little earplugs recommended (first time round I wore cans which was excessive) as the space is quite enclosed. I've been to clubs all over and worked in the industry years ago and people don't know how quickly your hearing can be affected by noise. In smoking area quite noisy also, there are ashtrays mounted on the walls but it's not undercover. The heavy rubber curtains seem a little bit unnecessary and add extra barrier that you have to touch to get through which is a bit unsanitary. Bar staff were attentive and friendly enough although I would recommend they definitely wear earplugs during their shifts to avoid hearing damage. It doesn't affect your ability to hear the customers and you get good at lip reading. Prices are alright. Around £7 for a jagerbomb and a single spirit mixer. I'm not a heavy drinker so. I don't know if they do drinks deals I haven't asked.
The aircon was on the second time round and there are several units spaced throughout and they were on and I even saw staff checking the aircon during my second visit. First time round was a sweat box! They've also installed big floor fans to distribute the air which is much better. Second time round I didn't come out drenched in sweat but I didn't stay as long. They have a cloakroom but I didn't use it. Both times visits to the women's bathroom it was pretty dirty evidently unattended with rubbish and toilets out of roll at about 1am. The usual. I expect a certain amount of mess in a nightclub but it did get grimey in there both times so a rota to check the toilets should be implemented. I like the lego on the doors and the decor though. It's pretty fun. Would be nice to get some better dryers in there as the others are antiques and do nothing to dry your hands.
The floors downstairs I saw one girl slip at the bottom of the stairs first visit quite spectacularly and then when speaking to a guy up in the smoking area he said he had fallen in the same place. A member of staff needs to be mopping that area as someone could get seriously hurt. The second time I did see a floor wet sign near the area.
I visited both times on my own and first time round I felt a little uneasy with guys trying to approach. I don't like visiting places in a pack for safety nor do I think it should be necessary as a female to feel safe in this day and age. The second time round was a lot calmer and I didn't stay beyond about 2am as I wasn't really feeling the music and the vibe was a bit flat probably because the weather.
I would say £10 entry on the door on that second night probably a bit steep - maybe you could do a loyalty scheme like coffee places 5th entry freebie or something on regular nights *hint hint*
I think the theme is cool and I love that there's a place like this to go in Plymouth to listen to techno and house. The lasers light show is quite cool although I personally get fixated on the chains holding the speakers upstairs. I like dancing by the balcony for more space 😊 Get off your phones people, and enjoy the moment✌️
N. M.This place makes certain areas tingle. Not the traumatic tingle you get from the Original Source Tingly Mint and Tea Tree but the pleasurable, exciting and glorious kind. 10/10

M. B.Music was brilliant, could not fault the line up for Darren Styles night. Staff were friendly and helpful, vibe was good, the new lay out of the place was much better then when it was crash manor. Downside.... The event was sold out with an extra 100 on the door- there was way to many tickets sold in my opinion, it was unbearable to move and ridiculously hot with not enough substantial air con! It's a death trap going to and from the smoking area with a step over door frame which is painted black so you can't see it. The doorways getting in and out are so narrow when you have people trying to squeeze through you basically get squished as well as those awful flaps that were just in the way!
How to improve - better air con, paint the door frame bright or get rid of it, lower your capacity, get a better system for going to/fro smoking including removing the flaps.

L. T.I had the best night out ever on Saturday at this venue. The staff make it what it is - the bar staff are so helpful and happy and clearly love being there. The security were fabulous too. There was no 'them and us' attitude anywhere and I think the fantastic attitude from the staff made the atmosphere so friendly - everyone dancing to the beats together. Was amazing!

I’ve been in Plymouth for 25 years now and I can safely say this club is the best I’ve ever known. Genuine care for the clubbers who attend as well: (very rare) space without feeling too cramped warm inside but not too warm! Extensive range of drinks, reasonably priced, great atmosphere and SOUTH WESTS CAPITAL SOUND for sure; I've seen and experienced too many clubs to mention: all over the U.K. this is within my top 3 without a doubt.

The reason for the 3 star is there was no water in the bathrooms and the cloakroom said they are full. This is basic stuff. Anyway it's a shame because the music was great and was ready for a dance
