Nipped in for date night had a really good night. Lanes are well maintained, generally quite clean .. it's had an upgrade since I last visited with the addition of 2p and 10p machines like you get in the arcades at Blackpool. Staff friendly and helpful. As well as the bowling and arcade machines there's also a kids party room and a separate function room that can be hired for special occasions.

What a nice place to have some fun! On site free parking (big and lot of space). Inside U have not only bowling but lot of different entertainments. Also there U can order food (very basic snacks etc) and drinks. We paid 30£ for an hour of bowling 🎳 which I consider as fair price :) U don't need any special shoes to play. Good music and vibe. Highly recommended 👌

Nice bowling alley with good parking facilities. Lots of lanes and we were able to get into a game within 10 minutes even without booking. Staff are friendly and welcoming. We had an issue with the pins not resetting but staff were very helpful, quick fix and even got time back to keep playing. Other than that small arcade area but of course not the main attraction. Decent food and drinks area. Would recommend and definitely would go again if we have friends visit.

This place has improved so much since we went last year. The bowling alleys are not fancy like some of the other places around Preston but the prices are good value and there are arcade games now as well which makes it more appealing. We enjoyed coming here over Easter and will definitely be coming back. If you have youngsters, probably best just paying for 1 game rather than the 1 hour package you can get because kids get bored after while in my experience. The £30 for an hour is definitely a great deal if you come with others that enjoy bowling.

First time visit since the lockdown. The food was great, the service was great, the bowling was great. It's the first place I've been to that has the CLAW Machine that actually keeps going until a child wins a toy. Happy children happy parents & grandparents. Liking the new look too.

Came here before lockdown and it's was run down and needed alot of tlc. However, today its clean, tidy and seems the staff and owner have put alot of effort in to pulling the standards up. Food was amazing and fresh and most of lanes are running. Staff was so helpful, definitely be back.

This facility really needs an update. Some of the staff don't have a clue what they are doing but that's a simple training issue, the guy was probably new or just new to working so easily forgivable. The girl who worked there was super on the ball and delighted to serve us. We had a great time. Sometimes the equipment doesn't work. We were disappointed to be told about discounts online after we paid on arrival... We could have saved over £10...no biggie, we know for the next time. Good for groups or dates.

A local bowling centre off the Preston city centre with a decent function room for birthday and hen parties. This place is very disability and autism friendly and offers a hugs the of discounts (terms and conditions apply). With a very spacious car parking lot, bar and food services with a full on arcade, you'll definitely get your money's worth here and I absolutely recommend it!

Prebooked some bowling but couldn't make it on the day. The staff were more than happy to reschedule this to a later date for me and were super friendly throughout our visit. The venue is very clean and well presented, with plenty of activities for all age groups. The bowling is very reasonably priced at £11pp for 3 games. Great selection of drinks on offer at really good prices and good food as well. Can't wait to come back!

We had a great night without it costing the earth.....food is reasonably priced, gluten free rolls are available on request. Staff are lovely and most are very friendly. The bowling was great, anyone with light sensitivity (including strobe) need to make staff aware when booking. Fab arcade there too so you can make it full evening out. It was very busy when we went (Saturday evening) so definitely advisable to book. Great place for adults and children alike 😊

Perfect, well priced for bowling, lovely helpfully staff, well priced drinks and nice nothing to over the top food, I don't mean this in a rude way but it is not trying to be a super fancy bowling alley like all the ones seem to try and be now with super expensive drinks and food and games. It's perfect for a little afternoon trip out with kids, just adults or even on your own. I will definitely be visiting again.

A place you can go for some fun without the need for a 2nd mortgage. £30 for a family of 6 for 1 hour of bowling. A real honest bargain. Its perfectly clean rather than pristine and it did get busy at 15.00 ish but everyone was having fun in a very family orientated way.

Good little bowling place. Didn't have to change my shoes and it does look a little rundown, but overall was very good. Very reasonably priced too. For 4 adults and 2 children it was £20 for a one hours bowling. We only managed one game with the children, but if your just a couple or a few friends, you could easily get 2 games in. Having not been in a while, I'm going to return very soon as it was a good way to spend a couple of hours.

Absolutely amazing party we had yesterday for our little boys birthday party, the staff were amazing couldn't do enough for us , the food was brilliant and all prepared on time when we got to the party room , the party room is locked whilst your not in it so things are safe , definitely be booking another one for next year but we will be returning soon as we as a family love a night of bowling 🎳 😀

Great family friendly venue that provides excellent entertainment for a low cost. We attended the early bird session as a party of 6 and it cost £2.50 per person per game!! 2 games, 2 and a half hours of entertainment for £30...I really can't find any cause to moan at that price. Yes the lanes and the scoreboards are a bit dated but they work as they should, staff are helpful and friendly and there's a few decent arcade machines and pool tables for additional entertainment. Great value venue that I would definitely attend again.

Very run down but somehow it keeps trading. Make sure you register your car number plate or you will get a demand for payment through the post. Even if you just drive through the car park and straight out again. Lanes are the usual quality but food and drink choices are limited. We have gone there for Christmas work event a couple of times. Last time they ran out of bottled beer quite soon after people started arriving, but they nipped out and bought some more so no harm done.

If you want an up to date, modern, clean bowling experience. This isn’t for you. However, all the times we’ve been the staff have been pleasant enough when the pins have gotten stuck and needed resetting. However - its very cheap compared to Hollywood bowl etc. I’d probably stick to the bowling and the arcades and avoid the cafe area however.

Been here a few times. It serves a purpose. Looks very tired inside, the ceiling tiles look like they have had their day. The lanes were reliable for us, although the wood looks very worn and the fact you can wear your own footwear says it all. The balls are filthy, our hands were black at the end. We paid 22 quid for an hour's bowling and 4 of us got 2 games in which was good value. I will return as it's close by and we had a good time. It needs a massive revamp. The whole place is still in the 90s (best decade ever) and the equipment is worn and tired. The toilets were nice and clean though and staff were good. We only had drinks which were reasonably priced and nice enough. It is what it is. A local bowling alley which needs a revamp but has a good atmosphere. There's also a proper shop where you can get your own ball made etc which is always the sign of a proper bowling alley. Not sure if they have leagues here or not.

A really nice place but I am really surprised at how run-down it looks seeing as a game of bowling - mid-day - was £2.50. They weree carrying out maintenance on a few of the lanes so that was a good indication to me they have standards they stick too and noticed near the entrance they have a PRO shop if you ever wanted to take the game more seriously. The staff there are lovely. Its a nice place even if it feels dated inside. There are 2 reasons i only gave it a 3*. The website, whilst user friendly, has the wrong address on it. I booked for a 2 hour family session which I got, however 2 of us missed our last frames because i was late. This was down to it not having the correct address. I dont live in preston so had no idea where it was. This was very frustrating for me. This resulted in 2 of us loosing our last turns. The website needs a definite overhaul.

Quite pricey for what it is. We went during the holidays and there were hardly any light balls for the children. We asked someone who had a ramp and clearly wasn't using it if our children could use it and they said no! They continued their game and didn't use the ramp once. Plain rude. The staff did get us a ramp and we shared it with the family next to us. The food is good and reasonably priced. There were a few problems with the lane not scoring right etc.

Facilities now growing a little tired. One of our lanes kept having a fault (of two). However, for an hour to kill, and for an enjoyable time, there are far worse places to go no doubt. The facilities are fairly family friendly, providing you don't mind lots of arcade machines and pool tables, as well as lots of bowling lanes. Keeping track of very young kids can prove taxing, but nothing you won't be used to if you have kids of that age. The place often seems busy, and booking is nearly always a necessity.

We visited the newly re-opened Rock and Bowl today with a voucher that my son won at Christmas which was for the old company. The new owner was kind enough to honour the voucher and give us our free game. Which was very much appreciated. The bowling alley was notably cleaner, brighter and generally a much more inviting environment than last time I had visited. The loos were clean and tidy and the bar area was clearly undergoing some level of refurbishment. The staff were warm and helpful too. The owner outlined some of the plans he has for Rock and Bowl which all sounds very promising. The further development of the alley coupled with reasonable prices could really put this place back on the map.

MFA Bowling has been replaced by " Rock 'n' Bowl" under new management this week. With the MFA facing financial worries it was bought out at the last minute and the new owner saved all the staff from losing their jobs I understand. We had a great day! Honestly right now, the place is in Limbo. It needs some TLC and the new owner has plans to upgrade as he goes along. New pool tables have been purchased, some of the arcade style gaming machines are due to be replaced very soon and plans are in place to titivate the place up alot. It's nothing to write home about yet but has all the potential to be great in the near future! When we visited today Prices are reasonable, with concessions available. Food is no longer pre prepared but was cooked to order. Fresh Coffee Machine Cash back available Reasonably Good Wheelchair friendly facilities Nice Staff Bar not in service until new management have obtained a license to sell alcohol but cold drinks were on offer. Air Hockey Tables Party Room available Arcade Games ok but due for impending upgrade. Table Tennis Available on request Karaoke Booth Available Coming Soon Live Rock Bands on Saturdays Needs a good clean and some new decor/restyling - which I understand is on the cards. The new owner and his manager was onsite and introduced himself personally. He has managed to acheive alot inside 7 days and deserves support to make it a success. The new telephone isnt up and running yet but they are connectable by Facebook and are open everyday I think (possibly excluding sundays tbc). 50 Greenbank St Preston. Parking available.

It's good. Could do with being done up. Starting to show its age. Lanes are always being repaired. I haven't had a game where I haven't had to reset the pins atleast once. Sometimes every other go.... if everything was done up a little. It would be great. Sometimes later on at night you have chavs hanging around making you feel uncomftable.
