Reviews of Huntingdon Hall

Great venue, lovely hall with pew seating at the back and good acoustics. Excellent bar room & loos, all very civilised. Nearly Dan were superb as usual, a great set and fantastic to hear more from The Nightfly as well as Steely Dan classics.

Nice old chapel, intimate venue, not brilliant for wheel chairs or problem walkers , but would definitely recommend it

This is a beautiful building with a big difference between the outside which is modern and the amazing 19th century interior. A stunning concert venue.

Great venue, small with good acoustics and a personal feel. Upstairs bar for before and interval refteshment, toilets up and downstairs. All in all an essential local venue. P.S. I was there for the show pictured today (Albert Lee) who is such an entertainer and fabulous player.

My first visit here and what a beautiful place set in what I presume was a Chapel, pues and boxes surround the stalls and a gallery finishes the seating plan .There's a bar which was busy and staff were friendly and helpful. Jenny Eclair was on stage doing her thing and was so funny .Her language put me to shame and that's not easy 😕. Jenny certainly entertained the full house with her wit and observations and everyone left with a smile on there faces .Parking isn't great ,but there is a multi storey about a 5 minute or so walk away.

Not sure how tickets are allocated as ours were bought as a gift, but the seats we had, had limited view but there were lots of empty seats, some just 3rows from stage!

Great small venue to get a brilliant atmosphere. Glad it wasn't the week before as it was so hot they had to open the doors

We went to see the Spooky Mens Chorale on a hot summer Friday evening. This was an excellent venue for a Choral Group. Good acoustics and the intimate venue lends itself to audience participation.

First time visiting Huntingdon hall, love the old architecture, it was great seeing Stan Terry again it's been a long time, he's still got it, hasn't lost his voice, it's amazing how much he sounds like rod Stewart

Went for Martin Turner concert. Great gig. Great sound in hall.

Fabulous music venue. Cosy yet modern bar. Great use of an old chapel.

Great little venue 👍Helpful and friendly staff

I love this venue, really nice Bar upstairs for pre concert drinks, be kind to the staff most are volunteering for each event. Simple concert room created from an old church, holds roughly 300 people so very intimate. We went to see Blobby Williams a wonderful Robbie Williams parody that has you rolling In the isles but sings with a great soul voice. They always have great artists perform despite venue size, go and enjoy an overall lovely venue.

Good smallish sized venue with character located in Worcester city center.

Tenors Unlimited Concert
This was superb. So glad to be back to LIVE performances. The concert included opera and current songs, from shows plus songs based around Christmas. There was also an amazing self penned song by one of the Tenors. The audience were totally involved in the performance joining the singing. The finish was rousing.
One point the bar staff at Huntingdon Hall need to be better organised to cope with half time rush. One even had trouble making tea, she heard saying I can only do gin & tonic! Not good customer relations.
I am sure the Hall will correct this but Tenors Unlimited were amazing.Do find their concerts and support them.

Excellent venue, have seen numerous Comedians here.

Have visited this venue twice now and will be back again, a lovely facility. great bar with excellent value food, perfect for a bite to eat before a gig. Quaint venue watching a rock band in a church hall, but all adds to the atmosphere, very well run by a great bunch of volunteers.

Saw Shakatak this evening and they were brilliant. The venue itself has excellent acoustics so a great place for a concert! All the bar staff were great too.... Excellent evening!

Great venue but bench seats are a little uncomfortable for 2 hours of sitting

A very atmospheric venue in a refurbished and well-preserved old Methodist chapel. Always has a full programme of live events organised by Worcester Theatres, with lots of interesting musicians. Great acoustics and centrally sited in Crowngate, a pedestrianised shopping and restaurant area of Worcester. There's a big car park a hundred yards away and a pleasant bar upstairs in a tasteful modern extension.

We had a great night listening to Mark Steel at Huntingdon Hall, a strange place being an old church, but you can get up close to the stage in the stalls.

Hi Had a great night at Huntinghall strange to see a show in a x church but it works acoustics are good where ever you sit and being small the show feels closer to you ,Staff helpful and friendly good bar upstairs the show we saw was OMID DJALILI very funny all in all a good place to go and see a show.

Very central location, has a bar upstairs. However is a bit tatty inside the main hall.
Also when arrived to the Venu asked the staff what their mask policy is. They asked if we could wear them. However they either didn't bother asking anyone else or no one else could be bothered. I think I was the only person wearing it in the end!!

What a fabulous venue, full of character, and ideal for an intimate gig or performance.
We have already booked to return.

Quirky theatre, sitting in pews as it was a church. We saw logicaltramp perform. Although they were brilliant, I thought the lack of surround sound was disappointing. I would return though.
G. E.
Quirky, intimate lovely venue. Originally a Church built in the 18th century. Bar upstairs. Car park virtually opposite.

Great venue

An Excellent venue for the acoustics, & atmosphere. 1st Class musicians who appear here enjoy it as much as the crowd. I know this as a fact having spoken to quite a few after the show. Thank you H.H. Priceless.

Went to see Andy Fairweather Low, great little venue. Nice bar

Loved it, warm friendly atmosphere, good acoustics, bar a little bit pricey!! Overall good concert venue, been here a number of times, always good tribute band's

It's an old church turned into a gig place. Can still see the religious signs and old wooden structures. It's very cozy and no more than 100 people can fit in. Narrow seats and little legroom but cool otherwise.
M. H.
Very good night

I came with a friend last Tuesday to a talk by Howard Robinson on Edward Lear it was great, such enthusiasm from the speaker. We had tickets for the talk, also given by Mr Robinson, on William Bligh and The Mutinies but due to the floods we could not attend. Just want to say that we both would like to see and hear more talks at Huntingdon Hall. Thank you. Joanna Georgui
