R. S.Not all heroes wear capes, they own Scott Gilmour. I was fortunate to be able to get a last minute appointment today after persistent eye issues post eyelash glue allergy. The wealth of knowledge that Scott has is unparalleled. Thank you for being so friendly, knowledgeable and for being so welcoming. There wasn’t a question that SG couldn’t answer! I cannot recommend highly enough and would recommend to all in Aberdeen, fantastic local business, 5*****.
S. C.Support local! I've been been visiting Scott Gilmour for about 10 years. The Optician (possibly the owner) is great. Even better, the staff that help you select glasses are the stars of the show - from the minute you arrive, they are friendly, attentive and knowledgeable. Their service is exemplary and so I'll never go anywhere else now.
E.I go here for annual eye tests and always get a very thorough examination (from the owner I think). Recently I had a minor issue and whilst they couldn't see me about it due to Covid restrictions, I received a phone call later that day from an optician (I don't think it was the owner) who explained what to do and why to do it. The problem cleared up within a couple of days.
I think small businesses like this rely on local word--of-mouth recommendations and it probably won't have targets like some of its larger rivals.
