My prescription is quite strong so top of wish list when it comes to spectacles is the thinnest possible lenses again EK Eyewear did not disappoint. They've even helped me out with the odd eyewear emergency at very short notice!

I can't recommend Eavan and the other optician highly enough. The staff are all very friendly and welcoming too. A few years back the Lab they use replaced a lens which had cracked at the frame a few months after being put in with bad grace saying they wouldn't be doing it again. This year I sent my old frames back in to have a scratched lens replaced and they broke the nose piece. No mention of any redress. Glasses simply sent back. Actually, 1/5 seems sort of generous.
