I have bought reading glasses for me and my husband from Eyelids for a few years now. It was great to find a pair of glasses with a 12mm nose bridge without the little padded supports which don’t really sit properly on my nose. The glasses are really good value and the service is very reliable. My only reason for giving 4 stars is lack of choice for 12mm bridges on glasses. Also I would like to be able to search the glasses range by bridge size.

I've just received 2 pairs (one folding) of + 1.25 sun-readers today am extremely impressed. The quality of manufacture and price is remarkable and the people behind these glasses obviously care deeply about their customers. I'll bet they've never had a pair sent back, and even the cases have that touch of class in design and colour. I'm now back on line to order two more pairs.

I have had many pairs from Eyelids over the years and only had one problem, spoke to eyelids and received an immediate no quibble refund, which I then spent on another pair from them. I have recently received my bifocal sunglasses. These glasses have exceeded my expectations. I can now see the satnav whist driving and view the road ahead normally. Perfect.

It's only when I started getting my reading glasses from Eyelids, that I realised that advertised lens strengths from other suppliers can be quite inaccurate. I was using lens strengths of up to 3.5X and despairing about the what next. Now I use Eyelids glasses of 2.5-2.75X and this is consistent with the strength recommended by my optician.
