Nearly 4 years since my last eye test, so well over due, easy enough test, & they even allowed me to take a picture of my picture of my eyes, if that makes sense!!

Hi I have amended my review after a delayed first experience spending £500 on Nikon lenses and designer frames and delayed service this was amicably resolved by the lab manager and he followed through and kept me informed , I had goodwill gesture additional frames and lenses , regards Shaun ExcelArate driving school.

Great opticians when you can get an appointment but trying to get a child eye test is like trying to get blood out of a stone, 3 times I have phoned as my daughter is due an eye test and there is never any appointments and it's been the same for 3 weeks, I was told to check the website Sunday morning for available appointments but I'm guessing they have nothing again

Brilliant help with choosing both pairs of spectacles and my audiology check was good but my hearing aids fitting and information I should have been given in cleaning and looking after and correctly using the aids wasn't given during the initial fitting, had to go back for this information and to get the aids tubing shortened for a much better fit so they don't fall off and out and risk being lost or damaged. That would be my only complaint.

Credit where credit is due. I had a few issues a couple of weeks ago and I wasn't very flattering with my review. In hind sight although I had some issues I definitely overreacted and would like to publicly apologise. I visited the Chelmsley Wood branch on Saturday and Jack helped me iron out the concerns that I had. A very professional experience, if you feel that you need that little bit of extra help he is the one to ask for. No disrespect to any of the other staff. I haven't got my new glasses yet but I'm sure that I will be looked after with any concerns I might have. Thanks again, especially to any staff member who has assisted me recently.

Went to specsavers today with my mom. She had previously been using the castle vale branch. As soon as we walked in "Amy" greeted us. She advised mom that her glasses were too short hence why they kept falling. Which was not advised to her before when she purchased two pairs from castle vale. Amy tried to tighten them however it was evident they weren't well fitted. She replaced both glasses for us. It was much appreciated. Thankyou Amy.

What can I say - FANTASTIC SERVICE!!! staff are truly lovely, couldn't be more helpful! after using several opticians in the past - I have finally found an opticians that we can trust. From booking the appointment to talking to the optician who was really helpful and kind, as I am a nervous customer! - I was then shown glasses where the lady who helped me really made me feel comfortable when trying them one. She was so honest with me when i asked if she liked the glasses i had tried on, she actually gave her honest opinion which was that they didn't really suite my face - together, we found a pair which really suited me and they were cheaper than my first option! - which then made me realise she was genuinely helping me - would certainly recommend them!!

After having problems from my sight over the past few days I’ve been quite worried I suffer with anxiety so booking thinks like appointments as stupid as it sounds gets me quite worked up my last appointment was 2013 I called and spoke to a lady called Chloe whom booked me an appointment for the next day from the very first second on the phone call I was made to feel at ease I was quite erratic and panicked and Chloe remainded calm the whole time Sasha booked me in lovely lady then I had a great eye test lady was extremely nice then Chloe could not do enough for me due to me struggling with headaches the last few days Chloe said she would see how she could hurry things along sure enough half hour later 1 pair of glasses was ready to collect I received nothing but outstanding service from the very first second. Thank you. A very happy and greateful customer. Chloe your a credit to your company

Went for my 2 year eye test on 10th March.Hate having my eyes messed about with ,but all the optitians were excellent ,so reassuring .Very busy but all doing there best for social distanceing And all wearing masks.Cant complain really.

Optician that saw me was lovely as was the lady who completed my pre-assessment before I had my test. Can't say much about the man who dealt with me after as he was putting me off getting the glasses I wanted and didn't seem to know what he was doing - he gave me an appointment for a time and day even though I told him my son had an appointment for the Monday after and it would be easier to collect glasses then - he still wouldn't give me an appointment on the same day I've had to phone up and rearrange. It's really confusing in the store and very busy too.

I had a very long wait this time. I miss the more personal service that the old opticians used to have. This place is always packed, the staff are are all very young. Friendly enough but there's something about the atmosphere in there that's sits slightly uncomfortable. Maybe it's the usual thing of trying to identify with similar age group when you're choosing an item to wear. Especially when it's on your face.

Visited specsavers chelmsley wood store just over a week ago. Staff were very welcoming and polite. There wasn’t much wait before going in for my sight test and was done by a lovely and professional optician and was very satisfied. I then went and chose some new frames with one of the lovely staff members Shannon who was very helpful and explained to me the best offer for myself and seemed to have a lot of time for me. When putting my glasses and measuments through, as I only had a small prescription Shannon was able to get the lab team to get my new glasses made up with in half an hour which I was very satisfied about. Visited for eye test yesterday 29/ 11/ 18. Met by a smiling Lauren. Even though \i was a little early, she looked after me and explained the sequence of events in my appointment. Took care of all my registration details - made sure I understood the process and in no time was passed on to Sarah Brain. Immediately realised that Sarah was a very experienced and professional optician. Total re-assurance - encouraging questions and giving clear and positive explanations at each stage. Spoke about my cataract surgery - the obvious benefits and what to look out for in future. The result was that her confidence was transmitted to me and I was feeling very positive about my sight in the future. Then on to Leah. She too was very knowledgeable and very pleasant. We spoke in depth about the range of spectacles available - every question I posed received a confident and detailed answer. She gave me excellent advice in making my choice and the result was I found what I was really looking for.. At this stage, not only did I feel confident about the advice I received - but I actually enjoyed the interaction. Well done Specsavers Many thanks W. RTichards

Went yesterday for eye test. The chap doing the test was friendly, professional and explained what was happening. The shop staff were the same. All round excellent. A good tip to visit on Sunday. Not too busy and quite relaxed.

I took my elderly Mom to get her eyes tested. She is quite frail and worries about everything. I must say all of the staff especially Paige were absolutely wonderful with her. They realised she was nervous and made the time to chat to her and take her mind off it. She was totally relaxed by the time she had her eyes tested. I was not very empressed with the Specsavers last time I went. I had appointment for specific time and I still had to wait. There were lots of assistants just walking around and talking to each other and l am sitting there so why have appointments.

Lovely staff. A bit cramped in there. So many staff to help. Only downfall if your glasses break accidentally, they wont help and try to get them fixed, so would have to buy some more, which isn't cheap.
