I would highly recommend this store I went to this store,just at the weekend gone and really wasn't sure of the glasses I choose so gave them a call and spoke to a lovely lady called Liz who is the manager of the store. Liz put the previous glasses I choose on hold for me, to go in today 28/04/2022 and was really helpful in choosing another pair of glasses I would be happier wearing as I rely on my glasses like a right arm so to speak,she was very professional and patience and really took the time out with me to make sure I was happy so thank you so much Liz at the Specsavers branch at Longbridge I feel this review should also go to Liz's manger and she is rewarded if some way thank you so much Liz. Myself and my daughter had an eye test done today. All the staff was brilliant and helpful. Covid rules applied perfectly felt safe for the both of us. Plus thank you for allowing me as an adult to take two sweets could help myself 🤣. Will be booking again when need to.

Had my eye test earlier today which went well. I wasn’t pressured into buying glasses. Also given a date when to go in and collect my new glasses when they are ready. The staff are exceptional and very polite towards customers. Recommended

I have used these guys a couple of times now and I have to say the service each time has been excellent. I use a wheelchair to get around and I have to say the staff have always done what they can to accommodate me and my chair. Thanks again guys see you next year!! And please pop me in the draw!

Customer service could be better. I wasn't contacted about glasses not being ready to pick up so wasted my time going to branch. Then second time I wasn't contacted again, I had to phone the store up myself. Really need to sort their communication out.

I went to Specsavers Longbridge today Wednesday 06/01/21 the staff were great but I wasn't best pleased with the Female that was told to sit with me in a confined space not wearing a face mask and trying to have a conversation with me. The store is not adequate in size to hold people without a face mask and I would not recommend attending any appointment until it is mandatory to have a face coving. I was asked if I would be attending with a face covering and that gave me the impression it was mandatory but now I feel I've put my family at risk and I shouldn't have been put in that position so will be looking to change my optician's if I hear nothing changes. I didn't even stay to look at glasses as I couldn't wait to leave

We had a dilemma yesterday,a close relative broke his glasses whilst at work NHS . We called spoke to Sarah. And on confirming the number and make of frame,they had put existing lens in. All within 30 minutes and on the way back to a very relieved relative at the his place of work. Thank you for making a difference to our day .You will be our place for future appointments.

Had my eyes tested which was fine. However it was difficult to choose a pair of glasses given the social distancing. I said I wanted to come back with my wife to help choose but they said that would be problematic as they only allowed 8 people in the store at one time. If someone turned up for an appointment then my wife would have to stand outside. A young lad was outside with his father waiting for an eye test. It was pouring with rain and they had been waiting way past their appointment and were soaked. The staff wouldn't let then until someone left so I left to enable them to come inside. I appreciate the difficulties with distancing but I felt pressured to buy glasses then and there. Decided to buy frames on line.

Previously worked for this branch and will only use these guys. Pleasure to work with and the director Irfan Asia who is also an optician is amazing! He really knows his stuff. The best manager I have ever worked for - Sara price and the rest of the team are lovely. A great selection of both designer and Specsavers own frames. I couldn’t recommend this store enough

Fantastic good thorough eye test and eye health check, got to try on glasses and was left alone and not pressured into buying anything

I received a very brisk, but rigourous, sight test; which was split into two parts - eye health and eye test. Then led through to the sales room to choose glasses. I went for some light titanium glasses and cheaper reading glasses as the "free" pair (these could have been the same as the main pair, but I wanted to be able to differentiate between the two easily). My main glasses are bifocal, with the two lenses invisibly blended (an extra cost). Because of this, the glasses have to be measured just right so that the reading lenses can only be seen by looking down. This can be tricky and lead to headaches if not right. I'm pleased to say that the staff at Specsavers got this right first time 😊 The Longbridge branch has plenty of free parking in the main town centre car park (up to 3 hours before charges apply) and parking immediately outside for those with accessibility problems. Excellent!

Luck job I call up first as they said I could just pop in when I got there they only appointment I mentioned I spoke to someone over the phone and then they let me in I had to wait a while even though the shop was empty but when I finally got seen it was a quick and friendly experience
