Really nice and friendly staff. My son (5) went for his first eye test and they were really patient with him and thorough. I personally have been going to the boscombe Specsavers for years and can't fault them.

I went to the Audiologist's. The shop was well organised and although there was a lot of people there it seemed under control and managed appropriately. The Audiologist I saw was very pleasant and professional in what she did. Altogether it was a very pleasant experience unlike some other Optician premises I have dealt with in the past.

Hi I had an appointment with Spec Savers in Boscombe High Street (12.05 pm) (31 10 21) I have to say the service I received from all staff was fantastic. Professional . Considerate and extremely helpful. The sales guys Robert & callum were very helpful. I was impressed by this totally well run store. The female optician was extremely knowledgeable. I was planning on going to glasses direct online. I am glad I did not now. Highly recommended.

Clients can attend by appointment only. They have a good system where you place your chosen glasses on the tray and then you can spend as much time as you need by the desk and mirror to try them on. For people with a really bas sight like me staff also encouraged taking photos in the new frames to see with my glasses on to get better idea how do I look 😊 staff happy to advice on frames and prices and lens fitting options. Generally it was less stressful experience than I was expecting. New glasses to be picked up in 1 week time - pretty good!

I couldn’t rate my experience here any higher! I was greeted as soon as I walked in by a lovely lady who performed the initial eye test (took the pictures) she was extremely friendly and made a point to explain the whole process. I then had the full eye exam and again everything was friendly and relaxed, she took me through the health of my eyes and explained thoroughly any changes. Finally the part of this I always dread I was sent to pick my frames, I was given plenty of time and felt under no pressure to chose anything. As soon as I had selected and moved to the side I was immediately sat down so they could complete my order. All in all this truly was a 5 star experience and I would recommend this branch to everyone.

Was really impressed with everything including how covid-safe the shop was - everything was really clean and I could see staff cleaning down chairs etc after use by each person. Very helpful staff even though I thought I'd booked an eyetest here only to be told it was their Bournemouth store that I needed to be at. They rebooked an eyetest for me and phoned the Bournemouth store to explain the mix up.(Christchurch road/ old Christchurch road) I'll blame my eyesight apperently I'm not the first person to do this and probably not the last either.

I went to this opticians after moving to the area for eye test and contact lens trial. The waiting times for appointment was relatively short and the service received was excellent. I had first trial of contact lenses, which didn't work too well for me but I was allowed to trial a different pair for free. The customer service was really impressive, they called me to remind me about my appointments and arranged direct debit over the phone when I wanted to sign up for regular contact lenses. Because there was a 2 week wait to post them out to me, they sent me a pair from their store to cover me until then! I will continue to use this opticians, because although its a national business, this franchise is well run and they take time and go extra mile to make the service personable and accommodating.

Our friend used this Boscombe branch and we waited and waited for about 2 hours and she only had an eye test we had to cancel her hearing test because the car park ticket was about to run out. We must say their Poole branch is alot quicker and better.

Just been in for a fitting she never asked if I could read with them and I never thought. Got home called them up explained I could see reading and was greated with it takes 2 weeks to get use to them. No apology just come in and see the person who gave you them. Really bad customer care

The lady who did my eye test was great, she gave me tips on how I should rest my eyes and I was very happy with the test itself. However the man who 'helped me choose my glasses' was awful. He asked if I wanted help, I said I didn't mind and after a while, seemed like he got bored and went to talk to a colleague who was leaving their shift. What made me not want to return there again was the service provided by this man during the payment process. He did not seem interested, couldn't get his words out, seemed like he kept forgetting what he was talking about and then... put his finger in his ear, took it out and flicked it... and again, and again... it was disgusting. I couldn't believe it. He then forgot to give me the item I paid for.. he was a disaster. Wouldn't want him to work in my company, not a service that should be provided.

I had some issues with sight changes due to illness. Staff at all levels were so understanding, even changing my prescription lenses twice. I already was worried thinking my sight was failing but I didnt have to worry about the cost. Thankfully the medical condition settled down and my sight has stopped deteriorating further.

I was very frightened and nervous when the DVLA sent me a brusque letter telling me to get an eye test to assess whether I am fit to drive with Glaucoma. I had done a "reccy" the day before, but it wasn't obvious where SpecSavers was - just that it was near The Sovereign Centre. It was raining hard, which didn't help! However, with help, I did find the shop, right next to the entrance of the Sovereign Centre. Got there early. Greeted immediately by a very pleasant older lady, who booked me in and showed me where to sit. Had a little wait, but I was early and they were very busy. Good atmosphere though. Got seen by a very warm and helpful lady - Barbie - who went out of her way to make me relax, and was as helpful and reassuring as she could possibly be. I now have to shiver and nervously await the test results, which are said to take around 6 weeks.

All the lens he used to assess my eyes were grubby, i was made aware of this towards the end of the consultation when his senior came in to assess my eyes because I wasn't getting anywhere with the current one. His senior said that he had to clean every one of the lenses before he clocks off. I felt a bit cheated out of £21

I usually use Specsavers for eye tests and am overdue for a test again!!.. I was in their shop back in March this year for a hearing test with a member of staff as i had a hearing problem from January onwards..i then went back to see the audiologist by appointment for a proper hearing test..They did plug their hearing aids to me..the cheapest being £499 for one..up to about £2000 for one..needless to say i didnt commit to any as was still under the doctors for the problem and eventually went to Poole hospital for thorough checks..They found a polyp inside my left ear that they want to take a portion of for a cancer check..yet to be done though..by May my hearing in both ears had come back naturally..was sooo relieved..then turned t.v sound back down to normal..so hearing aids not required after all..would recommend Specsavers to anyone though..as they know their stuff and can help you choose glasses too if you want them to..prices are competitive and staff are good..with plenty of seating available while you wait..and warm now its December weather..chilly

I go here regularly for an eye test to see if I need new glasses. Can sometimes be waiting a while to be seen. They have also made mistakes with my glasses in the passed, which is obviously annoying, however they have corrected the problems as soon as they could.
