Z. P.I had an eye test with Hayley today and I really recommend. The whole team are friendly on arrival and it’s a lovely shop. Whilst the appt is more expensive than some high street offerings, it was extremely thorough, Hayley talks you through the different steps and tests she’s doing in an easy to understand way and is really friendly too. I’ll definitely return and recommend to anyone.

S. H.My go to Opticians Michael and Hayley i know my eyes are being looked after by most professionals in eye care specialist in the Bristol area who have worked in the eye hospital, as well as in private practice.
The front of house team and technical side of the practice, are every ready to help mend or straighten my specs !!! ( promise no broken glasses photos from Dubai this time).
Advise on suitable frames or lens is top notch and whats right for you , just picked up these bad boys for driving and playing golf in the sunshine.
No hidden selling practices here unlike some high street chains or push to a product they have on a deal, it straight honest advice , great customer service with smile.
A. C.Recently had a comprehensive eye test and first pair of verifolcals. Felt very safe considering covid and nervously choose some new frames which I had some excellent help choosing and very happy with them. I can now see much better distance and using the computer and reading. Would definitely recommend. Everyone I have spoken to there were really friendly helpful and understanding. Did not reel rushed at any time either.

I had an accident in October 2016 which A&E treated as minor. I went to see Michael about a month later because it was clear my eye was not recovering. Michael immediately saw the ligaments holding my lens in place had all been torn and I needed to see a specialist as soon as possible. He contacted a colleague in Bristol eye hospital to confirm and before I knew it I had been referred and was seen in a very short space of time. This resulted in eye surgery to replace my lens in January 2017. The follow up care I received from Michael and Hayley was second to none - no question was too silly.......and believe me there were many many questions. I now have glasses to correct the sight in my new lens and regular emails inviting me to pop in if I have any discomfort or worries. I really feel I am in good hands and can't recommend Michael and Hayley of Johnson and Furze highly enough.
