Located at the bottom end of Sainsbury's, the staff were friendly and smiley. I hadn't had my eyes tested for years and the days of the optician putting some weird glasses frame on you and the place lens in, seems to be long gone. First I went into a room with a staff member who was very informative and talked me through what they were doing, making me feel relaxed. I opted for my eyes to be scanned for a full health check, this was at an extra charge. There were two machines that scanned my eyes. Then I had a short wait to see the optician. The optician was professional, took me through my scans, explain what they were looking for. The only down fall is that the shop is a little small so the stock is limited.

Picked glasses up awful to look thru. But nothing like what I had two years ago when picking up my first pair of glasses Given a mirror to look, checked they sat well on my nose, asked if felt ok around the ears etc..Asked why I have these if I can't see great thru them, well the optician said I needed these who else, strange question. 100 days to see how I get on but I found the service totally different from 2 years ago, but I can go back I know. Read a review on wrong prescription put in some. How can I feel 100% sure these are correct u have no checking sheet for customers to feel confident. Mistakes happen

All the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. I always get anxious having eye checks. Dr Hussain was so understanding and reassuring. It turns out I needed further exams at the hospital but he discussed it with me and showed me images in a calm way which helped keep me calm. He called several hours later to check that I had gone and to find out how it went. He was purely concerned with my health and not making sales. He may have potentially caught something that might have turned nasty and got the ball rolling for treatment quickly. Brilliant branch, nothing was too much for them. Well done Emersons Green.

Customer service was really good but glasses provided were wrong. Lenses made my vision worse and I could not use them. What I tried in store was fine but what ever come back from the lab was not as I previously tried. Bit disappointed really as I had to wait 2 weeks for them to arrive. I decided to have a refund as i had enough of this messing around. I came to this store after a very long appointment in fishponds store that was never completed due to me being messed around and hanging around for available people to finish eye test. After 2 hours I just paid and walked out. The guys at Emerson’s green were really good though and let down by what ever was made up and sent back. No point buying glasses that make vision worse, that’s the opposite of what I expect.

Very friendly staff, much more pleasant than my local Specsavers who dismissed my inquiry into a work related voucher for an eye test and glasses for VDU use. I'll be seeing these guys from now on and don't mind traveling the extra distance.

Exceptional customer service from both technician testing eyes and from Optometrist Josh Ward. Josh did a great job of talking me through test results, feedback on state of eyes, and options for prescriptions. Highly recommended and worth £35.

Went in today for my first eye test ever, and the opticians were absolutely great, and quite accommodating of this - despite the rush of shoppers and a slightly-behind optician as a result, I was ushered in to have my pre-test totally on time, all went smoothly and the opticians were patient and quick. What really encouraged me to write a review was the assistant at the counter who helped me try on glasses, Amy - I had never bought a pair of glasses before and she was incredibly patient with me while we looked at more than a few pairs together. She suggested some pairs at different price points, and was honest about which ones suited me and which did not (gently), as well as being really kind, helpful, and, frankly, a right laugh - made a dull task quite refreshing! One of my tests had to be redone, and she was helped by an equally smiley senior member of staff to do it, who supported her through it step-by-step - it was all sorted super quickly. Overall great experience with a lovely team. :)
