This is for Tesco Extra at Woodfield Plantation, Doncaster. Really great service, fantastic, friendly and helpful people. However, the floorspace offered is way to small. This is despite an apparent 50% increase. This translates into feeling a bit 'crammed in' especially if you're big and tall. That said, I received a really thorough, clearly explained eye examination and more importantly for me, honest advice on what frames and lenses would suit my condition and budget. I will be returning.

Managed to squeeze me in for an appointment after the store in Frenchagte had told me my appointment was not booked, even though I had a confirmation text message and they could not help me. I have recently been diagnosed with diabetes and need regular eye checks. the staff at the above are extremely friendly and helpful. The optician who examined me was very thorough and explained everything in detail. He said that my eyes had improved slightly but advised against changing my prescription as it could be due to the diabetes.

The staff were extremely helpful to me as I'm an incomplete quadraplegic, they moved things for me and made me feel safe. The optician was going to test me in my chair but I swapped to the chair in the room to make it easier for her to do her job and I was happy to do that.

I booked my appointment on line, which was easy I turned up at the store and was helped by Summer who was really helpful, I had a very proficient eye test then Sarah took over my measuring and my requirements, whilst training summer, the whole process was easy covid safe, and very friendly.

In the past my eyes would get tired trying to establish my prescription using all the different lenses and i felt this may have lead to an incorrect prescription. Its all the mod cons now and my prescription was sorted very quickly. I'm coming back.

Was Tesco Opticians, now Vision Express. After a rocky start, I was annoyed at the loss of a few hundred pounds when staff would not honour Tesco's guarantee after they referred me for cataract surgery after new glasses were no good. A few months later, eyes done, back to Vision Express and they said it was nothing to do with them. Eventually they offered me new lenses at my cost; I had not worn the glasses as I could not see clearly through them. Being so upset I gave up, only to then get annoyed, so I rang up Vision Express again. A young, polite and helpful man said that we could come in, they'll get it sorted and, to my amazement, I have an appointment in two weeks: I am having my lenses changed at no charge. Well done, Vision Express.

Couldn't find keys to open glasses section for me to try on🤪. Card machine wasn't working🤭 then lost lenses to show sun glass colours.🤪 Think they were having a bad day tbh. Usually good.👍
