Went today on a last minute appointment, we are visiting Dunfermline, and am I glad I did. The service and professionalism from both floor staff and the optician made this the best and most comprehensive eye check I have every recieved. Amazing customer service went above and beyond I use to go to spec savers and 100% won't be back after my experience at vision express it was unreal the difference thank you so much. I had a great experience in store during my eye exam. I felt safe throughout the experience, from getting my test, the health checks and even trying on new glasses. However, after ordering my prescription glasses on 11 March, I am yet to hear that they are ready. I haven’t previously had to wait over 1 week. This is a little too long, especially as on 17 March, the estimated time for completion was updated to 17-20 March. Today is 22 March. So here is where a star was lost from this review.

Got taken a few weeks early which was a bonus as it was an appointment for getting contacts again and was sorted out fast and the staff were very polite and caring. Although it seems more expensive I'm happy to pay what I've signed up to pay aslong as I get better treatment than I did from Specsavers whome I was with since I was 13 and I decided it wasn't for me after a change in staff and the way they work now after covid and lockdown... Vision Express all the way now.

I received excellent patient care from all the team at Visions Express Kingsgate once again. I returned to store after purchasing my glasses in January as felt my vision had deteriorated. Pamela the Optom recognised that the pressure in my left eye were raised and quickly phoned the out or hours Ophthalmologist at the local Hospital insisting that I was seen that evening. Tracey and her team were fantastic arranging my transport to the hospital and allowing me to wait in store after opening hours while awaiting transport.

Very helpful and friendly optometrist, who was able to recertify my glasses and contact lens prescriptions. I wasn’t pushed into signing up to the direct debit contact lens prescription, as has often been the case in other VE branches (when I have lived elsewhere). The front of house staff were also very friendly. I will stay loyal to this branch as long as I stay in Dunfermline.

Todays visit was to return my reading glasses which was 1 of 2(distance) after my eye test on the 11th of June. My reading glasses were wrongly made up to the same as the distance ones. I spoke to Nicky yesterday who immediately put in place an order form the correct reading ones and for the originals to be returned, hence today's visit. When asked when the correct ones would be ready no date could be suggested. I was hoping that the replacement would be fast tracked. I await your comments. Regards Roy Smith

Optician was great, not much range of frames, especially for people on a budget. Was expecting to pay about £100 but in the end paid over double that. The girl was very pushy when it came to choosing lenses. Wouldn’t go back for glasses but liked the optician
