This branch restored my faith in Specsavers when the helpful staff understood that my elderly mother simply required her broken glasses to be wearable. Other branches told me flat out there was nothing they could do because the glasses had been discontinued. This branch quickly and helpfully fixed on a mismatched replacement arm free of charge. I previously paid £18 per pair for new arms to be fitted. Yes, my mother frequently breaks her specs! Thanks.

I had a really great experience here today. I needed new lenses and I really like my current frames and couldn't find anything similar which I liked. They replaced the lenses in my existing glasses within the hour and they were really good value. Boots would have had to send them away for a week! Excellent customer service too. Would recommend.

Exceptionally good. I’ve only recently needed glasses and this is only the third opticians I’ve been too, but I can’t imagine getting better service anywhere else. All the staff who dealt with me were polite, helpful and charming. I got just enough input on styles and was then left to browse myself, which is how I like it. I got two pairs of good quality glasses which I love for a very good price (compared to three previous purchases). Quick to get an eye exam with a lovely optician, glasses arrived early and were perfect. Can’t think of any way this could have been a better experience. 6/5

I was at specsavers on sunday with my friend and her husband,who has parkinsons and louis body dementure for his eye appointment.The service was absolutley tremendous,the staff were amazing and the optician was very patient with denis which helped his wife emensley.We can not thank them enough .they went above and beyond .

Superb service. The extremely pleasant staff sorted out an issue with damage to my month old frames (caused by my puppy chewing them) quickly and efficiently. Eyetests always conducted in a professional and courteous manner. Have been to other opticians in the past and Specsavers (both this and the Leith branch) are far better.

I've been going to this optitian for 14 years, and in the past month have had the worst customer i've ever had there. The opticians themselves are as professional and helpful as always, but the sales staff have been terrible; senior staff who have previously been lovely were rude and reluctant to help, junior staff seemed to have no idea what was going on.
