J. G.After visiting a big named opticians to be told that they don't reglaze glasses and actually cited covid as a reason I had to look elsewhere. JLL optics was a recommendation and they have been brilliant. Very helpful when there was an issue with my prescription (badly printed) on a card which resulted in incorrect lenses being ordered. This is the first time in years I have had a spare set of glasses thanks to reglazing services. Good pricing.
K. M.This is the 4th time I have returned here however although I cannot fault the workmanship after today's experience, I have left very disappointed and doubt that I will return.
Left frames to have tinted lens put in to make sunglasses and said I would return in around 40 mins for them. Was quoted £20.
Returned to collect and normal lenses had been placed....not what I had asked for! My daughter was with me and heard me asking for sunglasses! Asked to return in 1 hour and advised it would now be £30.
Went back after 1 hour and 20 mins and they were still not ready to collect!
Had to wait a further 15 mins and then they were ready.
Happy with my glasses however, no reduction to cost offered when JLL Optics were at fault is poor customer service.
Unsure if I will return in future although standard of work is v good hence the 3 star rating. Just after care that has let the score down.
