Ordered glasses (frames, lenses and the special coating for computer use) for screen use at work. Chose the cheapest frames and they were lovely. I also got them thinned (not thinned as much as I would have liked but got much more expensive but that's probably cos I've got really really bad eyesight). Total cos was £99 as I got £100 off because it was considered to be a package I ordered. Very surprised they didn't cost much more so pleased about that. Not got them yet but customer service was excellent as usual. Very nice n helpful man.

From the minute I arrived I was made to feel welcome. Colin took care of me to begin with always making me feel comfortable and informed of what to expect. Then Blair the option took over, giving me a thorough examination, taking the time to explain each stage making me feel reassured. Finally I was placed in the safe and kind hands of Laura, the Store Manager, who patiently helped me choose my new frames. Offering, help and advice without being pushy or overpowering. The whole experience was very enjoyable. Making me feel like a valued customer. My usual store is Cumbernauld, this has now closed, so Kirkintilloch was my recommended alternative. I highly recommend this location. Thanks to all involved.

I can honestly say that every member of staff couldn't have been nicer and they where very professional, in particular the Manager Laura who was very helpful I want to amend this and explain that I returned to the shop 5 days later and asked if my glasses could be tightened as I often wear them on top of my head in-between reading,the way I was spoken to and looked at by Laura the Manager you'd think I'd committed a crime, it was horrible the way she made me feel. I took out insurance with both pairs of glasses I got, I have a problem with a pair but I won't go back in as I've been totally put off this shop and company for life.

I had a great customer experience at Optical Express recently with two of their team members, Laura and Blair. Laura was nice and funny and helped me choose the right pair of glasses for me, she gave me plenty of space and time to have a look around and try some on without pressuring me at all in any way. She then explained the different kinds of lenses and what they do and how much the cost in a very easy to understand way. Over all great customer service. Blair was the optician who performed my eye test, he was very calm and collective and again did not make me feel pressured in any way. Have been to many optician s but was really impressed at the time taken by staff to help me pick new frames. I dealt mainly with Laura who was so patient and helpful it made me feel completely at ease. My glasses were ready to picked up really quickly and I would definitely recommend a visit here. The best thing about the Kirkintilloch branch is the staff that work there. Been going there for years and wouldn't go anywhere else now. Blair is fantastic, as are the ladies. Laura will always go out her way to help whether it's a routine appt or not. Louise will give you her honest opinion which I really value otherwise I'm stuck with a pair of glasses I don't like for 2 years. Only met Mardi a couple of times but she seems just as lovely as the others. They also have a pretty varied selection of free and designer glasses so you're sure to find something that suits your face and your budget.

I was very pleasantly surprised at the speed with which my glasses were made . I would put this down to the very precise and thorough manner in which Sharon the Branch Manager processed my order . Her attention to detail was most impressive . The eye test that Blair, the Optician carried out was equally as thorough and I was particularly impressed by the very detailed report of the examination which was emailed to me. I had a friend over from the US at the time who was also very impressed and intimated that although their system is private they did not receive anything like as detailed a report of their examinations. I have used this branch of Optical Express for a few years now and feel that the service has improved year on year . I would happily recommend them to anyone.

Optical Express were very helpful when I turned up with one lens having fallen out of my glasses. This was quickly fixed and followed up with an eye test, as it was two years since my last one. The eye test was very professional and efficient and the subsequent organising of a new pair of glasses handled very well. All the staff were friendly, helpful and efficient, and the premises and equipment were up to date, clean and in excellent condition.
