I had a very positive experience at my local branch in Shawlands - the staff are all really friendly and helpful. Everything was explained well and the advice I was given for my ongoing eye care was very clear. I appreciated the help in choosing new frames too, which was fun! In short, I have nothing but praise for the staff...they all know what they're doing and are very friendly.

Went for an eye exam today and was made to feel very comfortable. Susie was very friendly and professional, explaining everything as she went. The front desk staff were also very polite and knowledgeable. They never had the frames that suited me so they have placed an order from their warehouse for me to try on before I buy, great customer service and not pressured into buying anything right away

I have always received the best of care at Optical Express. The eye exam is thorough and professional and through my eye test my optician discovered my high blood pressure so I would definitely recommend getting your eyes tested regularly and for me it's Optical Express.😊

I had a great experience here yesterday, 11th October 2019. Not my usual opticians but I passed by to ask about an examination to test my field of vision following a health scare. The branch had availability later that afternoon, and on returning I received absolutely outstanding service from the team there. Very professional, very courteous, great at explaining everything and making sure that I was totally satisfied. By the time I returned home, I had an email containing a PDF copy of my prescription plus notes and tips on eyecare and options. 100% recommended - a great store, and real asset to Shawlands.

I have been a customer of Optical Express for over 10 years and generally been very happy, however, two years ago I got new varifocals which made a terrible mess of my nose, in fact breaking the skin. After several adjustments, it made no difference and I have never worn those glasses which cost me £400. Your agent said they were heavy because if my prescription, but to years ago, fir a change, I got a pair of varifocals from Boots. Same prescription, half the weight. I got my eyes tested and was helped to pick frames and the information given was very clearly and well explained including the options available to me in regards to having my lenses thinned and the aftercare package. Great place with a very good eye test. I was a bit nervous, not having an eye test for so long - in case there was something wrong. But the test turned out fine and the optician was very friendly, and the feedback on my eyes put me at ease finally. Thanks to Shawlands Optical Express for this test !

Was in store with my nephew on Saturday 23rd September 2017. I would like to pass on my thanks for an extremely friendly and professional service. The optician Suzie made my newphew feel at ease, she explained every part of the process and was very thorough. We were assisted by the Joe the store manager who took time to help my newphew select suitable frames . Joe was very knowledgable and professional as well as as having a friendly approach and as a result, we will be returning to the Shawlands branch in the future and I would most definitely recommend to my friends and family.
