As usual my experience was excellent. The staff are soo helpful and nothing was too much bother. I am wheelchair dependent and the ease of getting around is very important to me. The staff were extra vigilant and mindful as I moved around. Staff very easy to speak to which immediately put me at ease. All in all a great team to deal with. Thank you. I would have no hesitation recommending them to family and friends.

Really patient optician examined my little girls eyes for the first time,. Also front desk staff very professional and friendly towards myself and my two children. I have been a Tod Opticians customer for over 30 years and have always had great service there, both before and since the previous owner retired. I am particularly happy with my latest glasses, which are the most comfortable and best-fitting I have ever had. Julia, who helped me choose the frames, was very patient and helpful and Glen kindly made a quick repair on my old frames to tide me over till the new ones were ready. Lovely optician, customer service is second to none, a wide selection of trendy frames not commonly found in your traditional optician store. UPDATE: Since my last review, I must say I’m beyond impressed at the level of service I’ve received from Allan M Tod. Nothing short of an authentic, intricate bespoke service, the frames I was after were a challenge to locate, despite this, Tod’s went above and beyond to do what they could to get them for me, and just that happened. Couldn’t be happier :), thank you once again.

I would like to thank the gentleman who repaired my glasses today. I had been without them for several days - which had caused a certain amount of frustration for me. I had visited a couple of opticians beforehand and no-one was able to repair them, so I was delighted when the gentleman took time to replace the leg on my glasses. A great service. Thank you.

Excellent care and service. Saw me this morning for an emergency appointment after my own opticians were closed. They explained each part of the procedure and gave me a diagnosis straight away. Really helpful. Also felt safe with the covid restrictions in place. Very professional, nice to deal with. Knowledgeable in all respects, I've been going here for over a year and will not be going elsewhere. Very nice exterior and interior, it's nice, spacious, and very modern. Good selection of frames too. Also offer a free trial of contact lenses, should you wish to try before committing.

This is the best optician that I have ever been to. The staff are really friendly. The optician that tested my eyes was really patient with me and she gave me the time that I needed. (I do have a really complicated prescription.) She understood that I do a lot of small close up work and she has managed to get me a prescription made up that means that I can see the smallest of print. Something that other opticians have not been able to do. I usually have to wait approximately 3 months to collect new glasses because my prescription is so complicated but Tod have managed to make them up for me in less than 2 weeks. Something that has never happened before. I wish that when I moved to Glasgow nearly 2 years ago that I had gone to Tods the first time that I needed to see an optician. I first went to 2 other opticians and they really messed me around. (one of them lost my glasses and refused to replace them.) I can honestly say that for as long as I am living in Glasgow I will be going to Tod. I have finally found the best opticians. (I have been to a LOT of opticians in my life and non of them have come close to the awesome service that Tod has given me. Also the way that they have dealt with the social distancing and cleaning during the Pandemic has been amazing.

I needed an emergency prescription for an issue with one of my eyes. My usual optician was closed, but Tod Opticians were very happy to give me advice over the telephone as well as issue me an emergency prescription for eye drops and ointment. The service and advice was spot on and even though I wasn't registered as their patient, they were more than happy to help. Top notch service, top notch advice. If you're looking for an optician, then please look no further. Thanks again for all your help during a bank holiday and getting me the medication I needed as well as advice on the issue about my left eye. I really appreciate it.

I have been a customer for 20yrs+ & wouldn't dream of going anywhere else. I am a disabled lady & have to rely on someone to take me. The service is exceptional. Nothing is to much trouble.
