My daughter wasn’t a customer here, but she had to be seen at the Glasgow Fort branch in an emergency situation, as our usual opticians was closed. We were accommodated with a same day appointment within 2hrs. The extremely painful eye condition was diagnosed and treated by Ciaran, who was very good at putting my daughter at ease by being very approachable and understanding. He was very empathic with regards to my daughter’s ongoing health condition, which she greatly appreciated as it was something that she’s rarely experienced from a health professional before. I found him very child/teen friendly. I have no hesitation in recommending this opticians. My daughter will be changing to this place now.

Outstanding service from Glasgow Fort Team. I didn't have my eye tested for nearly 10 years and was a bit nervous. Everyone couldn't be more helpful from carrying full eye test and then picking my first reading glasses. I also treated myself with new sunglasses as girls were soo helpful and advised which one looked the best on me. Highly recommended.

My experience was great, especially since I had to book a follow-up appointment for later in the day. Ciaran the optometrist was thorough, professional and friendly. Rahid helped me with appointments and payment - he was also lovely. All in all, really happy with how I was treated.

Couldn't have asked for a better experience, staff were so attentive. Ciaran the Optometrist took his time and explained reasons why ive had some issues with my eyes also gave good tips to remedy these. Very courteous and pleasant at all times. Definitely recommend this store.

Perfect customer service and experience from your sales assistant in the Glasgow Fort store. It was my first time buying glasses so didn’t know where to start. The sales assistant took his time to go over the range of frame choices, lens upgrades and extras. I would highly recommend this store and would like to thank them for their help. In comparison, I was within your Braehead store and was completely ignored by staff. Offered no help, not even given an acknowledgement of merely being within the store. This was despite there being four members of staff within the main area of the store all talking to one and other and TV programs and such like. Rude, unapproachable and completely unprofessional. For the 15 minutes I spent browsing the wall of mens glasses I was not even offered a simple ‘hello’. Sadly for them I left and bought 2 pairs of glasses from the Glasgow Fort store.

Went to VE after attempting to get prescription glasses from another major high street optician who could not get my script right. Service was quick and efficient, frames were from a well known manufacturer and were sturdy and glasses were prepared in the time stated. A lot of attention was paid to the fit and to the suitability of the prescription. The staff were very professional and yet were good humoured and smartly turned out and really knew about the good they were selling. I am delighted with all aspects of this shop especially after my poor experience with the other glasses retailer.

Extremely Helpful Staff, Attentive and Thorough, I’m one of these people who does not like to be told something looks good and suits me, if it actually doesn’t, the staff worked really well together, took me a while to find a pair that suited my face and fit properly, they took my details and scoured the system and companies to find me something suitable. They were not at all pushy in my decision making, this made it a little easier to make my mind up in my own time. Fantastic experience in comparison to (other competitive opticians). Cheers

I can't thank the staff enough at vision express at Glasgow Fort for their help support and quick response sending me right away to gartnaval eye clinic where I'm receiving injections to my left eye due to blood vessels bursting could have been a lot worse if the staff hadn't acted right away.
