I had laser eye surgery in November. Pre-surgery appointments went very smoothly, staff were attentive, ready to answer any and all questions and were honest about the risk involved. On the day of surgery things moved swiftly, the surgeon and assistants were all excellent and completely put me at ease. I had a minor complication which was picked up at my next day appointment and sorted out quickly with minimal fuss. 1 month on and I’m still attending regular aftercare appointments (at another branch) to make sure everything is healing properly. I now have better than 20:20 vision which feels amazing.

Had a fantastic consultation with Nyrie from Airedale House. She was well informed, reassuring and oozed expertise. This was far superior than my consultation at Optimax. I wanted the best value for my money and I got that at Optical Express. Cutting edge technology and a solid service. I am very happy with my iDesgn LASIK results.

I had laser eye surgery earlier this week and I can not thank the team enough for literally transforming my life. Jenny was so friendly and welcoming. Richard tried to reassure me as I was extremely anxious about the surgery. The surgeon Dr Khadmi explained all my options in considerable detail with no pressure on which option to proceed with. Both Alan and Rob kept me occupied with their awesome humour as I lay waiting for the surgeon on the surgery bed. I am absolutely amazed by the results. The following day I had a follow up appointment with Shehzad who was brilliant. I also got to thank Jenny in person and asked her to pass on my gratitude to the whole team! They were all absolutely brilliant and have literally transformed my life for the better. Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you so much - you are all brilliant :)

I visited the Leeds branch to ask about lens replacement surgery. Nyree assisted me and did all the preliminary test, I then went to Shehzad who talked me through the whole procedure letting me know I was suitable for the surgery and what I could expect afterwards regarding vision. I then chatted again to Nyree who answered every question I had with patience and knowledge. I went away to think about it and at no point felt any pressure to go ahead with the surgery. I spoke to Nyree a couple of times with questions that had occurred to me after the appointment and she was fab, answering everything. I decided to have the surgery and a couple of weeks later went to Manchester where the whole team were amazing. My surgeon Pedro, was fantastic and I felt very reassured. I had my follow up appointment the following day at Leeds and again Nyree was amazing. I have felt looked after, listened to and reassured through out and my vision now is fantastic. I recommend the whole team at Leeds and thank them for all their help, advice and professionalism.

Having had enough of glasses (for near work) I decided to look into corrective surgery. I attended at Airedale House, Leeds for my consultation. The lovely Nyree took me through all my tests, explaining what and why she was doing things. I then saw the optometrist who again went through the process and confirmed that I would benefit from having my lenses replaced. I left with a detailed brochure to read at my leisure to ensure that I was comfortable with any decision I made. There was no sales pressure at all through my entire experience. I read the documentation and drew up a list of a million questions which Nyree answered fully. The support was amazing and I really couldn’t have asked for more so thank you Nyree. I decided to take the plunge which in all honesty was quite daunting but unfounded. I attended at the clinic at Bridgewater where I met Dr Desai who again when through all the procedure with me to ensure I was happy to proceed - again there was no pressure. The operation took about 20 minutes and did not hurt in the slightest just a little uncomfortable but this was more to do with the clamps. I left with my after care pack and clear instructions. All the staff here were very welcoming. I was amazed that I could actually see my phone without glasses almost immediately and when the anaesthetic wore off even better. I am now 4 weeks on and my brain is still adjusting to the lenses but I haven’t had my glasses on since the operation. All the staff at Airedale and Bridgewater were extremely pleasant and I would highly recommend using Optical Express for this type of surgery. Thank you.

I had my Lasik iDesign laser eye surgery last month in Leeds Airedale House clinic and the results are beyond fantastic. I always expected the results to be great but didn't realise just how huge a difference this surgery would make to the quality of my vision - I am absolutely amazed! My experience of the clinic was the best I could have ever imagined. Every member of staff at every stage of the process, from the receptionist to the surgeon and everyone in between (shout out to Steven!) was so friendly, kind and professional I wish I had more follow up appointments to spend more time with them! I can 100% recommend the Leeds clinic and if anyone has any fears about the surgery itself - there's absolutely no need to be scared. The staff will explain everything to you, they'll answer every question, and the surgery is so quick and easy (and such an interesting experience) you'll probably feel like me as soon as it's done - 'can I go again?' and 'I wish I had done it years ago!' :)

Absolutely over the moon with my treatment. From start to finish the customer service and friendly advice provided was superb. I was very well looked after by all members of staff at the Leeds Airedale House surgery. Would like to give a special thank you to Steven Swain, who saw me through all my check ups and consultation. He made me feel at ease through out the whole process and assured me I can contact him any time for information or just a chat. Also my surgeon Erik De Koning who was very professional and helpful. Would highly recommend this to anyone who is thinking of surgery or may be a bit nervous like myself, you will be well looked after and wish you had done it sooner!

Having contemplated for years having Laser eye surgery, my only disappointment is not making the decision to do it earlier! The morning after the surgery my eye sight was fantastic, better than 20/20. Optical express made the whole experience incredibly simple and I felt I went into it knowing all the facts and potential risks. The whole staff from the receptionists, the sales representatives, the surgery nurses to the actual surgeon, were incredibly professional and I felt I was in good hands through the whole process. I now can enjoy life without the use of contact lenses and I want to sincerely thank Optical Express for this.

I visited Airedale House Leeds yesterday for an assessment for laser eye treatment - whilst I was not suitable for the,treatment. The whole experience was exceptional. All staff where friendly, put me at ease, talk me through all stages and loved the honest way the outcome was delivered. Although I have already spoken to my new best friend, from leeds today on the phone I can't remember your name (sorry), but you know who you are - (Raj's friend). You where brilliant to deal with, can't think of a better way to spend a Mon afternoon. I can't not recommend Airedale House and the staff highly enough.

Had a consultation yesterday in Leeds to find out more about the options available to me -it involved many checks on my eyes and lots of questions to gather relevant information from me. Louise put me fully at ease and made sure I knew what the different options were, what the procedure would involve, where it could take place and details of all the follow ups and aftercare. Claire did my eyesight tests and she was very thorough and informative. I have also had a follow up from Head Office to check I was happy with my appointment yesterday. I underwent LASEK surgery with Optical Express just over a year ago and have had a very positive experience. Although I had the surgery at the Manchester office the team at Leeds handled my aftercare and I found them all to be very friendly and helpful. My optometrist Mike in particular was excellent - he explained everything very clearly to me and made sure I was totally happy and ready to be discharged when the time came.

Had my surgery a week ago today, was the best decision I’ve ever made. Got better then 20/20 vision the day after surgery. It has changed my life. Yes i know everyone says the same but it truly is amazing. Its the smaller things you realise that have the biggest impact. Optical Express have being brilliant from me first booking my consultation over the phone after a online enquirey right through to my aftercare. Had laser eye surgery on 7th September 2018 in the Northampton clinic, and currently having my follow up appointments in Leeds due to studying at the university. Was seen to as soon as I arrived at the Leeds office. Very easy to find in the city centre. Was welcomed by a very friendly Kiel and assessed by an extremely knowledgeable and friendly Mike. Fantastic customer service from them both, very friendly and welcoming and happy to talk and answer any questions or concerns. VERY refreshing experience compared to the staff at the Northampton office, who are almost all the COMPLETE opposite.

Fantastic service when I went for my contact lens check. Welcoming, polite and hospitable reception (made me a coffee straight away!) and then a thorough eye examination from Mike. There’s such a great team atmosphere where everyone’s working together so that you really do feel totally reassured that you are getting the best eye treatment available. My partner Pam had her eyes checked over on Saturday 13th July after having eye laser treatment 4 1/2 tears ago. The team were absolutely fantastic especially Kerry, Almu and Diane. I had a very good initial consultation with Steven Swain and Claire Thorne, great bedside manner and happy to answer questions. Almu was very lovely and helpful as well. On my followup, Mike was excellent at explaining what to expect in detail so that you understood the process. All the staff from start to finish were great.
