Everything was handled very professionally. I hardly had to wait at all before the health of my eyes was tested, or before being called by the optometrist, who was very attentive and thorough at all stages of the examination, and in discussing the way I use my glasses. When it came to choosing my frames all of my queries were answered clearly and all options with regard to lens coatings were explained. I left feeling confident I had received a very high standard of service.

I feel that Vision Express have the right equipment for an optician. Staff are friendly and most of all the opticians are great. Went in as a family and we were all happy. Keep it up. Would highly recommend.

The Test was a very precise. They told me what was needed in terms of prescription glasses. No force selling. Which i like. They had a good variety of frames on the budget side. The only criticism from myside would be the pricing for the add ons. Hence four star rating.

After months of searching for frames which suited me, I eventually found some in a Vision Express optician which I is very nice.I was unsure which lenses to choose, and lady explained about all the different lenses. I was also surprised to learn they supplied transitional lenses in the thinnest form I would highly recommend this site to anyone seeking great, quality frames, great service and a great price! Eye test done very quickly.

Brilliant service from start to finish (so far). I've not collected my new frames yet as they were only ordered yesterday but I'm not in the slightest bit worried. From booking the appointment, entering the store, the test itself, right through to picking the frames, the service I received was outstanding and I honestly felt like a valued customer, which is quite rare these days. Everyone I had contact with were extremely smiley, bubbly, polite and super freindly. Nothing seemed like it was too much effort at all. First time using vision express and I'm certain that from now on, they will be my go to opticians. All of the staff here honestly deserve some recognition because they did a stand up job of being the face of the brand! Independent level service from the big boys. My partner has already said she will be moving over to vision express once her eye test is due! Thanks all for a pleasant visit.

Extremely nice and helpful opticians. Very good service. But I hate the waiting time for appointments. You have to wait for around 2 weeks time for an appointment which is ridiculous especially when your glasses breaks. Maybe this is generally like this in the UK I am not sure but it certainly isn't convenient.

This is literally good service with a smile. I've been in the store in Leicester at Highcross three times; to make an appointment, to get my eyes tested and to fit new glasses. All at different times during the day. I was just amazed by how the staff members where all so friendly, accommodating, kind and knowledgeable, no matter what time of the day or how busy it was. Best thing for me was when they decided to repeat a full eye-test, just to be sure and all that their expense and time. I've lived in many cities and had eye-tests done several times, but never experienced such good customer service, ever. Top-notch!

I am very happy with the service I got at Vision Express. The staff is friendly and helpful, the eye-test was performed using machines, everything's automated, I was really impressed.

The guy who tested my eyes gave me some informative information and reassured me about the issues I had. I have been coming to Vision Express for years and always feel that the service is really good. I was very impressed with Siobhon. She gave me some excellent advice especially related to varifocals. Both of the staff I spoke with were knowledgeable and put me at ease. I hope when I pick up my glasses Siobhon is there. The text says they may be ready on the 11th Dec. On that day I am flying to the US. I would really like to collect them before I go if it was at all possible. Whatever time they ate available up to the 10th Dec I would be able to pick them up. Totally surprised at the low star reviews!! I have received nothing other than exceptional quality service from Vision Express. Quick tests. Good appointment system. Glasses ready in a shortish time. You have any adjustments made at any time ie the nose clips changed to soft gel pads or tightening up the glasses legs.... Simply drop in its a free on going service. Tea & coffee are nice if offered but not a high priority. Water is available.... Or simply ask these guys. All are approachable. Maria is professional & supportive with excellent customer skills a credit to the company!! Thank you all.

FROM THE MANAGEMENT AND ALL THE STAFF...5 STARS. THEY ARE WELCOMING AND PROFESSIONAL, ACTIVELY LISTENING TO CUSTOMERS. ALTHOUGH MY SIGHT IS POOR, STAFF DID NOT PATRONISE ME, THEY PUT ME AT EASE AND HELPED A GREAT DEAL. THE ONLY DOWNSIDE, IF I CAN CALL IT THAT, IS THE SHOP NEEDS A REFIT AND THE COMPUTER SYSTEM NEEDS AN UPGRADE FROM WINDOWS XP. BUT STAFF SEEM TO MANAGE VERY WELL. CONGRATULLATIONS. TO ADD TO MY COMENTS. THERE HAS BEEN A PROBLEM WITH MY NEW GLASSES. THERE WERE ALL SORTS OF ISSUES WITH THE LAB. IT TOOK JUST OVER FOUR WEEKS TO GET THE GLASSES. THIS WAS NOT THE FAULT OF THE SHOP. IT WAS THE LAB. I DID MAKE A COMPLAINT TO VSION EXPRESS HEAD OFFICE AND IT WAS HANDLED VERY WELL. I ALSO SPOKE TO VISION EXPRESS PARENT COMPANY, GRAND VISION AND EXPLAINED THE ISSUES TO THEM. THEY MADE ALL THE RIGHT NOISES, BUT WERE NOT HAPPY THAT I TOLD THEM IT WAS TIME THEY INVESTED IN THIS COMPANY AND BROUGHT IT UP TO DATE. I WAS ASKED IF I WANTED TO JOIN THERE CUSTOMER PANEL, I DECLINED.

Had expected service for years with not too much to complain about but had to transfer stores recently as they could never fit me in for an appointment after trying 3 times. I moved to a store that was more flexible with time so there are obviously issues with oversubscribing to appointments at this branch. My advice if you like Vision Express to look for a less busier outlet.

Happy enough with the eye test and consultation but less so with the completely fabricated delivery time. Was promised a week, 2 weeks later and I've heard nothing - no updates whatsoever. Year ago I used that branch and I was so impressed about service - really lovely and helpfull people, amazing service and glasses were ready in one day!!!!! Off course they have service in same place so it made everything easier but still, with my special prescription, I am sure it was not easy to do it so quick. Amazing work!!!!

Eye test was great, very reassuring and attentive in that department. Then they sent me out on the floor to look at glasses, and I was told someone would be right with me. There were staff members stood around in groups, discussing displays or chatting, and one or two helping customers. It wasn't busy, but I couldn't get anyone's attention. Didn't realise that the people at the counter were working there, since they were stood at the customer side just having a chat. No one actually helped me. 20 minutes later I finally paid for my eyetest. Felt ignored. I left annoyed and I'm not sure that I would go back to this branch or company.
