Not only my glasses got fixed under 5 minutes but the gentleman doing the repair explained what was the issue, gave useful information about the type of glasses I wear in a really captivating knowledgeable manner. Excellent customer service, comprehensive workshop. Buy or repair I recommend them.

I was looking for somewhere that I could take my non prescription sunglasses to have the lenses replaced as they were scratched. I wasn't sure this was even possible as the "big" High Street opticians weren't interested as I hadn't pruchased them from their store. From the moment I telephoned Woodgate Eye Centre to when I picked them up, I was hugely impressed with the helpfulness and service. I took my glasses in that day and was told it would be a few days. I was advised the next day that they were ready! I went in to collect them and they were just perfect and meant I could now wear these sunglasses again that I had had stuck in a drawer for over a year thinking I may have to throw them away. I would highly recommend Woodgate Eye Centre - good Customer Service can be hard to find these days so it is a pleasure when you do find it! Just need some sun now :)

Such friendly people...... The best thing about Woodgate/Wyvern optical is there knowledge.
It's not just the run of the mill opticians eye test shop with a few frames to look at and buy, it's actually run by dispensing opticians who have a vast knowledge of optical lenses and frames.
Being a dispensing opticians means that the lenses are actually manufactured on the premises.
The selection of frames caters for all pockets and there are an extensive variety to choose from.
You get properly measured and fitted for your frames/lenses, get made to feel welcome whilst doing so and don't get to pay the earth for an excellent service.
When you are fitted, your new glasses are made to those exacting measurements. It's like being tailored for your eyes.
I cannot recommend them highly enough.......I WONT USE ANY OTHER OPTICIANS

Keith and Angie provide a good, professional service and nothing is too much trouble for them. If you don't know what kind of frames you want, Angie is superb with advice, she really has an eye for what suits a person. They are both really knowledgeable and friendly, and are happy to explain everything to you. I can't praise this business highly enough.

I had broken my glasses that morning and called woodgate eye care. I was seen that day for an eye test, as I was overdue for a test.
I picked up my new glasses the very next day. Great service, no fuss, very friendly.

Hi Francesca,
Business Owners Response to your complaint:
The Woodgate Eye Centre&Wyvern Optical has a clinical policy that the Patient's that have booked an appointment in the Practice , are expected to be dealt with in a queuing, by turn method. Those Patients are not to be set aside for later arrivals.
However it is the policy that if the later Patient has a need in an emergency, e.g.. broken spectacles , urgent medical consultation ,they may jump the queue.
I witnessed your arrival & departure without an appointment ; your presentation was determined by myself that your needs were to be placed in queue for our popular services, and requested of you to take a seat, you would be ''consulted soon ''.
Yes we do deals, and our Patient's are more than happy with the services.
Sometimes in busy periods due to popular demands Patients have to wait a short while(a seat is available during their short wait).
I simply witnessed your departure as your own decision and dissatisfaction for not being allowed to jump a queue and view all frames un-attended as you requested..
We did nothing wrong in requesting politely that you simply wait your turn in a seat to save you standing in wait for assistance.
Regards
Mr K D Hill ,Registered Optician
