First visit to this branch. Very welcoming from all the staff. Thorough eye test and friendly optician. After my test it was time to choose some sun glasses. Too much choice but it was made easier by an extremely friendly young lady Mhairi. I valued her taste and opinion. She was a star.

Great service and really fast! Our Ukrainian guest speaks little English but had to go for an eyesight test on her own to the Waterfront shop - all staff were really helpful and accommodating, which was very appreciated. And the frame was ready sooner than we thought. Thank you very much!

I booked an impromptu eye test and was given an appointment that day. The staff were excellent in dealing with me only to be eclipsed by the optometrist who was fantastic. This was the most thoughtful and detailed eye examination I have ever received, thank you Ms.Payal Odedra.

The in-store staff at Vision Express Waterside are fantastic - warm, friendly, professional and welcoming. Their amazing service is let down by the atrocious web "booking" form that first appears to make you an appointment, then schedules a call back to "confirm" the appointment, by which time the slot has been taken by someone else. It took me weeks of backwards and forwards between the website, the twitter team and the store just to confirm a basic booking. Professional people need to be able to book quickly and simply online and not field calls during work hours. Other companies are able to allocate bookings online promptly and efficiently - Vision Express needs to figure out how to do so.

The optician managed to do both a contact lens appointment and an eye test despite the faulty on line booking service only booking me in for one of the options. The shop was clean and well venterlated, There was hand help for public use, which was good because I had forgotten to bring mine To save me returning to town I organised a postal delivery for my new glasses. The staff team in the Waterside shopping Centre in Lincoln made my eye test appointment a very pleasant and enjoyable experience. Having entered the store slightly apprehensive about the test and having to select my spectacles without friends and family to advise me, the staff immediately ensured that I felt comfortable and relaxed. The Optometrist (Babu) was polite and professional and explained the procedures and necessary follow-up in a calm and assuring manner. Then Sarah supported me, and expertly guided me to select an appropriate new pair of frames and lenses. I will not hesitate to return to this store when my next eye test is due and thank you to the whole team for giving me an entertaining afternoon out of the house!

We went to Vision Express with my elderly father-in-law having had a bad experience with another local optician previously. Our whole experience at Vision Express was exemplary with great service from both Jay and Niks who looked after my father-in-law and were very compassionate with him being partially deaf and sighted. All credit to the staff at Vision Express. Highly recommended.

Great service! Very competent highly skilled and friendly optometrist . After my vision being checked she referred me for a further examination and it was very useful for me. Also despite my bad English and very strong accent the optician assistant found for me glasses with specifications exactly what I asked for . The company even intended to send me a gift as a reward for using their service - free contact lenses . Unfortunately I don t wear contact lenses because it is uncomfortable so I refused. Would recommend for everyone!

They were great I just wished they had changed my pronouns and name like I asked via email, I had someone call me for an appointment and they said they would change my name on the system, then I got a text reminder with name missing letters and they still had me down as Mr, Mx ( pronounced mix) was what I would of preferred. The staff were very helpful choosing the glasses and sensitive to my requests. Would have been five stars if not for my name change which I tried to do due dilergence on, unfortunately the dots did not line up.

Went in to get new glasses and sun glasses while I was back in the UK from Spain. Offered to post them to me in Spain but my wife was still over to collect them as they arrived early. Would originally have given 5 stars, esp. to JAY, for initial level of pleasantness & customer service. But today (11/10/18) that has to be downgraded. Phoned store twice during opening hours & NOBODY ANSWERED even though I stayed on line for 5 mins before giving up. Very unprofessional to have no voicemail facility which cuts in after so many rings, offering a message & a callback. I know the store is relocating and it's possible that is happening right now, and that therefore closed today / several days(?) - but that would simply make it even MORE unprofessional not to have a recorded message on their phone to inform their otherwise highly frustrated clients of the fact.

Went in for an eye test today and I was under the impression it was free but I think it's if you book it online which I didn't realise. Due to the fact I'm a bit stressed with money at the moment, I had a worry in the store I wasn't able to pay for it but a VERY nice man helped me and offered it for free which I am very grateful for.
