Very straight forward process, choose your spec, uploaded your prescription and delivered to your address in 10 days. I went to specsavers, vision express, Boots and my high street opticians and all we’re charging me extortion amount on a designer pair of frames. I looked online and found JP Opticians to be the cheapest on the market. I am very pleased with my specs and thank JP Opticians and the team for their service. Ordered a pair of Oakley Plank 2.0. Even with a short wait for the supplier to get them the frames, I had them in just over a week. Shipped to Massachusetts, USA . Script is perfect and they are well done. Lenses are decent quality . My only complaints are that they didn't offer the newer version of Transitions. I'm bummed to be still swapping to sunglasses in the car. But, price was amazing! In fact, the price was so much lower than anywhere else that I wasn't sure what I'd get. I was supper happy receiving genuine product, and the cool box they ship in was neat enough it was tough to throw away. Only other issue was paying online . I had a hard time with my bank card. They actually flagged J.P. as a fake site trying to gain access and I had to call the bank and clear it up to get my card working again. 2nd try went through no problem. Not a big deal though , I should have known to clear a "large" out of country purchase first, my bad really. Great experience all around. I will be ordering from them from now on for sure.

I was very apprehensive about buying varifocals from an online shop . After hours of research the one thing that put JP OPTICIANS above the rest is that that they send you the frames for you to try on so they can see where your eyes line up to the lens . This is crucial when buying varifocals . Most other online shops do not do this and just rely on measurements you provide . Not knowing whether the frames sits high or low on your face . Price was very respectable (high street price was £260 from one of the majors vs ~£80 online, frames only) and my glasses arrived on time, they were correctly made (aside from one little bit of lens cord trapped between the lens and the half-frame, but that was easily poked back into place with tweezers so not deserving of losing a star for that). They were well packed and arrived in the correct case and with the correct Ray-Ban lens cloth and some spare lens retention cord incase ever needed. Can't fault that. The only thing they didn't do was adjust the fit for my head (aka bend them, yikes!) and that's a bit tricky over the internet... My world is now in 8K. Happy customer - I might buy a spare pair because my glasses live a hard life.

I'd bought glasses from Vision Express and the frames broke just outside of the warranty period. The lenses were fine and so I wanted to just replace the frames rather and get completely new glasses. John Prebble Opticians were the only place I could find that had the same frame in stock - and they were cheap. Ordered online, frames came a couple of days later, put the lenses in and all is well. I was looking for new glasses in stores, as my Ray bans were 7 years old and hated paying $500-$600 for new glasses. And as usual, prices were the same for plain old Raybans and I wanted a different look and something more durable and slick so i decided on Oakley glasses. After flipping around the internet for discount places that carried real brands, I found JP Optical, I've obviously never heard of them before and checked out thier website and reviews, everything looked great. The prices and reviews were so good, I was skeptical tbh so I emailed them about thier company and asked them why they sell so cheap and are thier products real? They got back to me within 20 minutes and answered all my questions honesty. They said all products are real and they sell them cheaper to drive in buisness by social media and word of mouth. I priced out my glasses, Oakley Socket 5.0, and in total they were $120 chaper than regular priced glasses anywhere else. It took me a few days and lots of review reading on this company but they are the real deal! Great stock and a detailed selection process for sizing, prescription options and amazing online customer service. They seriously couldn't be any more professional towards me with any and all questions I had. Shipping took a bit longer because of Covid but the glasses were cheaper and great overall. The only downside was I wanted thier thinnest lenses and the upgrade from a thin to super thin lens was $120 for the upgrade. They informed me it was only going to be about 2MM thinner so it might not be worth the upgrade. This company is not out to rip people off, they'll make plenty of money with how they do buisness. I will 100% order from here again.

I placed my order and was informed that it may take up to a week (Which was more than acceptable for prescription glasses. I had purchased through Lenscrafters a really special frame from Gianni Versace - Greca Aegis. AND LOST THEM. I looked around the web and found JP and the ordering seemed simple with plenty of backup from Sophia and her colleagues. The problem was the supplier would probably never have the black pair again! So I ordered the brown pair (tortoise shell) and they came very promptly and they work just fine. I am very happy. Don't know if I will ever have cause to use JP again, but have no problem recommending their service, even to people in the USA.

Brief Comment: Received glasses within 15 days of order, transition lense, Oakley frame. looks and feel awesome. To begin with, I was hesitant to order my glasses online and that too from outside US. I had my doubts, but I decided to order my glasses from JP Optician. One primary reason was the cost, they are 30% - 40% cheaper than local or any US online store. Frame color and size what I need, Lense color and type I needed. I am not sure if the transition lense I have on them are Transition VII or 8, but they do change Green in sun. The box was damage during the transportation, and due to which case was slightly damaged. I would recommend them using better box, but other than that no issue.

I was looking for Ray Ban frames 5154. The color were the Tortoise w/ the lettering on the inner side of the frame. I was looking for a lesser expensive price online and found one company. After being hoodwinked by that company, I decided to give JP a try. JP’s customer service responses to my questions were quick and informative. The company is honestly too. Right from the start, a representative informed me of the frames I wanted were unavailable but had the slighted larger version were available. So I agreed to go with the slightly larger frames. Also my lenses were specially made so I would not be able to return the glasses. Considering I live in the USA and JP is in England, I was a little concerned of the shipping time. However, the shipping was relatively quick after I placed my order. Even though this is my first time ordering from JP, I highly recommend the company. I had to wait about 2 weeks for the frames (they do warn on the website when you buy), but once I tried and selected which ones to keep, they were extremely fast to fit the lenses and process the refund for the other pair I didn't want.
