I can't recommend A&W highly enough. After much searching for a spectacles lens for both distance and reading but without the 'soft focus' area often associated with varifocal lenses, Sona and Jay guided me to the state of the art Sync 3 lens. The difference was phenomenal and I immediately settled down with my new glasses. It was the exemplary service that stood out for me. I was made to feel at home and relaxed in the beautiful Tottenham Court Road branch. The professionalism and friendly service I received is priceless these days and I instantly felt I was in good hands. Will definitely return and I will recommend A&W to my friends. The best eye specialist I have ever been to! I went last November for the first time after my sister highly recommended them. I did the Platinum Eye test which I highly recommend. I really enjoyed my visit and the eye specialist, a lovely young lady, was really knowledgeable and meticulous and answered all my questions patiently and in detail. You really feel well taken care of and welcome. Jan, was also exceptional and gave me some really good recommendations of glasses that would suit me. He nailed it every time and they have such a great choice of glasses too. Thank you so much to the team. I highly recommend Aston & Woods and will definitely visit again!

Sona, my amazing optometrist carried out my eye examination with passion and knowledge. She also provided me with a personalised eye health advice to keep my overall eye health at its optimum state. Modern and high-end boutique environment I also highly recommend doing their Platinum Eye Exam package as I did, as it is the most comprehensive eye test that you will ever experience. Having just popped in on the off chance to kill some time before a meeting, I was amazed to see they stocked the frames I had seen and loved when on a recent visit to Bath. I quickly arranged an eye test and the service was very straightforward and friendly. They accommodated several changes I had to make to my appointment time due to work commitments. I am so grateful a friend recommended Aston & Woods! Sona is the best optometrist I have encountered both here and In Italy. She is extremely attentive which helped me a great deal during my eye testing, for I'd normally get a bit confused and nervous. Thoroughly recommend the young professionals here at Aston & Woods. Previously had a terrible experience with Vision Express so I was looking for advice and recommendations. The team are friendly, engaging, personable and professional. They advised likely timeframe for delivery of my (awkward) prescription, and helped me choose a fantastic pair of frames which manage to look very businesslike yet individual and a tad more daring than I would have normally selected. I LOVE this place! Sona, the optometrist, really took her time throughout the eye test to make me feel comfortable and get an accurate result, I felt really confident. She is upfront about fees too which I appreciate. Super professional and punctual, and they have a nice range of spectacles (and are willing to order others in as needed). Fantastic experience at Aston and woods. I called to book an appointment as I desperately needed my eyes tested and a new pair of glasses as my last pair broke. I took their premium eye test offer and it was the best eye exam I have had as the optometrist explained everything thoroughly. The rooms were beyond my expectations. They helped find the right glasses for me and I chose from their Moscot range of frames. It was easy to understand my lense options, as they had menus to help me choose. I can’t wait to go into work with my new glasses since my last pair were embarrassing (which happened to be from a large retail chain). I can not recommend them highly enough! I recently had an eye test here and it is without doubt the best opticians I have ever visited. I was greeted by a member of staff when I walked in and was offered an appointment later that day. The eye test was thorough and the optometrist was extremely friendly. This is the best optician ever, I can't rave about it enough. If you are thinking about making an appointment, just do it. Sona, Jan and Keval are the nicest ever and not only that but they are professional and knowledgable. Sona is so patient and careful with the checks, she ensures that your prescription is perfect and that your eyes are healthy. Apart from being a brilliant optician, she is also a very caring and reassuring person. The team are always ready to help and offer their advice on styles, but they also understand the need to just browse through by yourself. Their collection is also stunning which is of course a huge bonus. But more than anything, it is this wonderful team that makes it all worth it. This is a gem of a place!
