Was not expecting such a professional/thorough eye exam. Prescription and pictures of my retina were emailed to me, very high tech! And the frames/glasses look great :) Did not know this brand but would definitely recommend

I own a couple of pairs of glasses from here and love them all! Some frames are several years old now but are still in great condition, and it is so easy to get the lenses changed for ones with a new prescription. Everyone I've talked to working at Cubitts is exceedingly friendly and helpful, and online customer service is very quick. The frames are so beautiful and such high quality that the price is beyond reasonable. I'll definitely be back here!

Overall great designs and good quality.. and I’ve always found the teams in store, to be helpful and knowledgeable. Especially those at the Soho store. However, recently i inquired via the website about Horn frames and was very disappointed by the lacklustre email i received back... however, i followed this up with a call (as its good to talk, especially when considering spending £1k or so on glasses) I ended up talking with the person who sent the email, they sounded just like the email just a little more dry..and uninterested. So, what I’ve learnt - is stay with ‘off the shelf’ frames, as dealing with office staff is just too painful..

As I passed the store, I was immediately attracted by the meticulous design. After consultation and explanation from the most courteous seller I had met, I ordered a pair of glasses. It took several days. When they arrived, they were especially suited for me in the shop. I bought them three years ago - these are no doubt my favorite glasses

Nice glasses and a customised service, but not your best bet if you are concerned about Covid or are an extremely vulnerable person. The premises are very small and there is no airing. There was, of course, a customer with his mask below his nose, which wasn't a problem for anyone. I asked if I could slightly open the door and was told I could not, because the AC was on and the temperature outside was way too hot. Thus shielding against 21 degrees celsius (which is the temperature today) seemed more important to them than shielding against Covid. I sensed my request had irritated the staff, although they managed to remain polite. I do understand that since most people are asymptomatic or get mild Covid, they do not give a damn about the disease. In that sense this place had nothing particular compared to others. Even in hospitals the staff is negligent and exposes patients constantly.

I really liked their selection of glasses and the prices are extremely affordable. Glasses order came very fast and the glasses are good quality. Customer service is OK. The guy I had help me on the first day I went in to pick glasses was great. Super helpful and knowledgeable. However, the girl who helped me when I went to pick up my glasses wasn't the best. She didn't fit them well to my face and was rude and seemed offended when I asked her to readjust them. They are now hurting my face and I'll have to go back in to get them readjusted.

Exceptional service! Great staff. I had been looking for a pair like the Quartz Judd glasses for a while, yet since I live in Ireland I was hesitant to buy them online incase they did not fit or suit me. I emailed Cubitts customer service to see what options I had as I was visiting London soon. A super helpful lad named George answered all my questions, and had a pair fitted with my prescription to be available in the Soho branch the day I was in London. Even after fitting the prescription, I was offered a full refund if I wasn't happy with them in person. Luckily I loved them! Honestly, the customer service staff and the crew at the Soho store went above and beyond (far more than any independent opticians I had tried before) and I'm thoroughly pleased. I recommend Cubitts to anyone for the reasonable prices, dedication, and superb service.

What can I say, I've been a admirer of this entire brand for what feels like the day you started. I'm so pleased to say I finally own a pair of your fantastic glasses, the service was exactly how I wanted it to be and so much more. Being based in South Wales, it's always been tricky to plan a trip to London just for some glasses, but after countless home trials and deciding it was time for me to take the trip to visit the store, and I'm so glad I did rather than ordering online. The two ladies who were working that day (Sat 8th December) were awesome, so friendly and genuine despite it being a busy Saturday before Christmas. I explained I'd been eyeing these up for nearly four years and Cubitts has been quite a large part of my fiancé and I's life, where she'd bought me a gift voucher not long into our now 6 year relationship. Through every single detail the team were polite, helpful and genuinely interested in what we were asking and talking about, which is very rare in retail these days. I genuinely can't believe how quick the glasses were built and shipped to me, arriving in under a week including me taking two extra days to send my prescription over. All I can say is thank you so much for living up to my high expectations, as I said I've loved your whole ethos, branding and photography from day one, so I'm really pleased it was everything I wanted and more. I had a super experience at Cubitts in Soho. I visited the branch because I had trouble with one of my eyes. The Senior Optometrist, Betony, was absolutely fantastic. She really put me at ease and quickly diagnosed my condition. There was no improvement over the weekend so, at the follow up appointment, Betony advised me to visit Western Eye Hospital because she thought I'd need steroid drops. She helpfully wrote a referral letter for me - and her suspicions were correct. Since then, I have been in store to choose my new glasses due to a change in my prescription. I had a positive experience and I'm really pleased with the glasses that I chose (Ampton frame in Granite). Thank you for your help.

The staff were super helpful and the person working at the workshop (Gabriel) was able to sort me out within a couple of minutes when I was initially advised via the online chat that it would take a few days! Impressed with Cubitts Soho! I booked in for a last minute eye test (7/10/19) and was met by warm, smiley, friendly staff. Betony (Senior Optometrist) was very thorough and professional throughout and showed great attention to detail, explaining what she was doing as she went along. Exceptional. I traveled from Dublin, Ireland to the Soho store to look for a wide-fitting frame as I had no luck in Dublin after many months of browsing/trying on frames to no avail/great discomfort. The service in store was very professional and accommodating. I purchased the Attneave frames in Amber which were extremely comfortable. Overall the price of the frames + lens slimming + return flight to Dublin cost less than half of the standard price of frames + lenses in most opticians in Dublin. Cannot recommend enough, I'll be buying my specs and sunglasses from Cubitts for as long as they're selling them. The glasses case, cleaning cloth, drawstring pouch, screwdriver and tote were all also of very high quality. Aiming to buy a pair of Horn frames in the near future!

Great experience at their Soho branch . I am not new to sunglasses. Wanted a blue shade and they did everything to locate it from their basement. Great frames. Look more sturdy than Persol. Lovely stylish unisex frames. Brought one in brown shade and was complimented by strangers ! Great helpful staff. Price £ 125. Definitely recommend the shop.

Very clued up staff with good product knowledge, excellent customer service and even though they didn't have an official/qualified opticians on site, these guys were able to help with all my questions and were very keen on adding value wherever they could. Very prompt with email enquiries too and the second time I went in they threw in a pair of clip on shades because they didn't have the colour I initially wanted. First rate service. Had my glasses sent over to Singapore very quickly and with a very small postage charge. The glasses are very lightweight and excellently made. I would highly recommend these if you want a unique bespoke set of glasses.

Strategy: more for less. Unfortunately glasses I have were unlucky, as they were broken few weeks after purchase. Cubitts replaced them of course. EXTREMELY individualized customer service! London brand. I love their staff. Every single person is different and very interesting.

Everybody seems to think Cubitt's is fabulous but I'm afraid my experience was a little different. I got my eyes tested there. One piece of equipment was not working that day so I had to return another day for that particular test. Then I got glasses made up elsewhere, to Cubitt's prescription. I could not see properly out of them. Cubitt's agreed to retest my eyes. On arriving for the appointment I was told that the person I needed to see was delayed - "stuck in traffic". She arrived about half an hour late, and told me she had a problem syncing her diaries so was unaware of our appointment (so the other staff had lied earlier). They agreed the prescription was wrong and remade three pairs of lenses for me, which was great. I received an email asking me to phone them to arrange again to see the optometrist. So I called the given number - and was told that they could not arrange any appointment as they don't have access to the optometrist's diary. She subsequently called back, to say there was in fact no need to see her again after all. The big problem here is the completely wrong prescription they gave me in the first place. Then several small problems of equipment/lateness/confusion over diaries and appointments.
