Entirely worthy of 5 stars. A very thorough eye test including a glaucoma one I'd never had before, much better than at any of the independent chains of opticians I've been to. Ket is friendly, kind and polite and did not try to oversell to me as I'm on the cusp of needing a very weak prescription for one of my eyes. Simply said to come back when I feel a difference or need (which I will be), was refreshingly different to being sold glasses before leaving the exam room like in some others. He was also great with our fidgety and highly curious 4 year old son who we took there for his first eye test!

Highly recommended, very thorough eye test and great customer service. Glasses can be reglazed without having to leave your current frames, a scan is taken of your lens shape, you just go back to get them fitted.

After missing my annual checkup last year due to Covid I was reassured by Kets thorough and careful eye health check, during which he reassured me about my slow developing cataracts and identified that my previous optician had actually misprescribed my contact lenses!! My new glasses are spot-on, from first wearing (they're varifocals and that's not always the case) and the choice of frames available and Ket's help in choosing them made finding something I liked a pleasure, rather than the slightly stressful experience I'm used to. I absolutely love the result and my vision with the Hoya lenses is excellent.

I first visited For Eyes on the recommendation of my doctor after having a persistent twitch in my eye for over a month. The polite and friendly receptionist was able to book me a same day appointment and the optometrist Ket couldn't have been kinder. He talked me through the different eye tests which was very reassuring and was happy to answer any questions I had. I was prescribed glasses that filter out blue light and would certainly recommend them. There was a great selection of reasonably priced designer glasses and the staff were great in helping pick out a pair. Having worn the glasses for less than a week the twitch has gone - hooray. I had eye test and contact lenses test. He and the receptionist were very nice to me and friendly. While he was testing my eyes he took enough time and explain me well what is happening. With my new contact lenses that he prescribed to me I can see more clearly now. And after the test he gave me extra chances to try new contact lenses until I feel ok with the lenses with no extra cost which was already included in the cost of contact lenses test so it was very affordable and felt safe. I 100% recommend this place. They have phenomenal staff and service. I was seen for an emergency eye appointment after I got a painful bit of dirt stuck in my eye. Fantastic home visit service for my mother who has dementia. I rang to book an appointment near to her home in Greenwich and was automatically offered a free home visit. This is incredible for an older person who rarely leaves home. The optician was so friendly and understanding. My mum's carer was very impressed too. He brought equipment, frames and help my mum choose her glasses. He also efficiently followed up to explain to me exactly how the examination went and also called again to organise the re-visit in order for her to make sure her new glasses fitted. He was excellent at keeping me and my mother's carer in the loop at all stages. Very very impressed with this optician.

Ket at For Eyes has been my optician a for few years now. It says a lot that I live a few miles away and will always make a special trip over to Greenwich rather than settle for a closer optician. The contact lenses he has got for me are the best I’ve ever had. They fit in my wallet, thinner than a credit card, and where other lenses dry my eyes out after a few hours, these don’t. Love them. Good range of specs too, and lots of patience for someone who wants to try almost all of them on 😂

I don't usually bother writing reviews, but I had such a pleasant experience at For Eyes Greenwich so wanted to post one. I went in for an eye examination after getting an eye infection. Ket examined my eyes very thoroughly, answered my numerous questions and gave me solid advice on how to take care of my eyes to aid the recovery. He also recommended I come in for follow-up checkups to monitor progress at no extra charge, and was kind and professional throughout. The ladies at reception were also really helpful, whether it was about changing appointments or random questions about eye drops. It was such a contrast to the usually rushed service I had experienced from bigger chains. I had laser eye surgery a few years ago so do not wear glasses anymore but almost wanted to buy glasses again (!) Thank you very much for everything, you guys are great!

I would highly recommend this new opticians in Croydon. After visiting many high street brand opticians over the years it was refreshing finding an optician who is passionate about what he does and didn't make me feel like a number in a queue. The service I received was first class, the staff are friendly and I was very impressed. They had a great range of glasses and brands for both men and women. I chose a pair of Ray Bans and they were ready for me within a week. I can honestly say that these are the best varifocals I've ever had and the quality of the lens is excellent. The optician at Foreyes took the time through several appointments and trials (at no additional cost) to ensure I got lenses that worked correctly for my complicated proscription. The last time I needed glasses I went to a high street opticians namely specsavers and I have tried a few more but I always found that their service was never up to spec, I was looking for something better. I looked online for quite a while until I found this place, I am working in the area at the moment so I decided to give them a try and was so happy I did. The optician himself is such a gentleman, he really took his time to he got me the best prescription, I have heard so many horror stories of high street opticians giving out the wrong prescription so this was so important to me, he also answered all of my questions very patiently, it gave me such a sense of confidence in his skill that I felt assured that the service was reliable, he really delivered on that. They have such an excellent selection of awesome frames and the girl who helped me choose was so lovely and honest, the honesty being the important part as sometimes these people can be yes men but she was just honest and was looking out for the best for the customer. End to end the service and price was great, I ended up buying 3 different pairs(Ben Sherman, superdry and Crosshatch) because I was so happy with the serivce and I really just couldn't choose between all of the great options. Overall a fantastic experience and I know where I will be going in the future for my next few pairs

Found this lovely new little optician in Croydon after being given a leaflet on the high street. The optician is so friendly and after a extensive and thorough sight test he happily spent time discussing my needs, at no point did I feel rushed which was a pleasure.
