l.Very VERY grateful for this opticians, regret not coming here before. I barely go opticians but began having bad headaches for over a year which led to me having difficulty seeing for several weeks now and as my parents are their patient and I've seen how well they have been with them I booked myself in. I'm very thankful for the optician who saw me and done the most detailed observation of my eyes ever and spotted the pressure in the back of my eyes as thanks to her I am currently admitted to hospital and in the process of finally getting the treatment I needed for so long! Once I am discharged I will definitely be making a stop with a box of chocolates, I will definitely recommend this opticians and will definitely attend routine check ups. ❤
N. P.Thorough, informative and surprisingly enjoyable routine eye test carried out by the senior optometrist (and owner), who has 42 years of experience. Was first brought to this optician when I was a child, and the care for customer eye health showed then is still present now. I will stop cutting corners by seeking out cheaper options and stick with this trustworthy independent optician.

C. P.Been using Hammonds for years since I lived in North London, I now live in North Essex and still go there. Friendly knowledgeable staff and so much better than the big groups of opticians.
n. p.Hammonds saved my eye. I came to them from a well known chain who kicked me out for waisting their time. Hammonds looked at the reasone I could not get a proper eye exam result. This was because of my stigmatise was playing havoc with my results. BUT... The optician also saw I had bleeding in both eyes. He sent me straight to Morfields. 10 years later I'm still happy with the service and happy I have not lost my sight.
