I visited the store last week to get some new glasses, without being quite sure of what I was after. I was helped by Chris & Yvonne, and the two were excellent in helping me pick out a nice pair that suited me, and my heavy prescription. They were super sweet and guided me through the process and what to look for and not to look for, and all I can say is that I definitely recommend them and enjoyed their company, and will be going back for my next pair or just popping in to say hello! Thanks team :)

Had my eyes tested. So professional and very thorough. Bought a new pair of reading glasses (Cutler and Cross) as a result. Apparently they were worn in the film Kingsman!! The whole experience was just great and such an enjoyable way of getting the best in terms of glasses and service. You want to spend your money there. I could not recommend them all more highly. Chris took care of me from beginning to end, and both Yvonne, the Manager and Lily could not have been more helpful. Love this place! We came here because we heard they had a great selection of frames- which they did. We were pleasantly surprised at how good the customer service was. It's a great place with superior service, eye tests done with Zeiss equipment, vast selection of unique stylish frames and great deals to get lenses done. My experience at Maverick & Wolf was nothing short of superb. Unlike many other glassware retailers, the staff were incredibly invested in ensuring I picked a pair of glasses that not only I liked, but were right for my lifestyle, job , face shape, complexion and budget of course. The whole experience was friendly and warm, and the glasses were appropriately priced. My glasses were ready within two days, and the opening hours were flexible enough to allow me to collect promptly. If you have been looking for a good pair of glasses, and want options as well as good service, this is the place for you. Also, lots of compliments about my new glasses, so clearly a job well-done.

We have been going to Maverick & Wolf for our eye tests and to buy glasses for a number of years now, even though it takes us over an hour to get there. Having been disappointed in the level of service received from other chain high street opticians, we ended up at Maverick & Wolf by accident but will never go anywhere else from now on. The service is very personal, their optician is lovely and professional and so is the rest of the team. The optician really takes her time to provide you with the best advice and to explain all the points. You definitely do not feel like she is in a rush or is trying to get rid of you as soon as possible to accommodate as many clients as they can, which is something we have experienced in other large opticians. For glasses, this time we have been assisted by Yvonne and she was absolutely great! Her level of knowledge and professionalism is incredible. She does not just push for a sale, but genuinely wants to make sure that you are happy with your glasses and helps you think through all the tiny nuances that only a true professional could think of. We will continue using Maverick & Wolf going forward and would recommend it to our friends and family. They also have a good choice of frames, mainly focusing on brands with hand-made frames, which again is great.

So, I kinda knew what I wanted, I had searched online to no avail. I wandered round Westfield and absolutely nothing. I was thinking lord a trek round central London, but wait let me try that place on my doorstep!! Well....Chris is a god, made me feel really welcome, had the exact pair of Tom Ford glasses that I had in my mind and bingo..........I am a very happy customer and I will definitely return, why would I now go anywhere else?!?!?

If you're particular about your glasses then Maverick & Wolf is the place to go. Yvonne and Chris were super attentive and gave honest advice on which frames and lenses best suited me. Had to wait a while for my eye test but Yvonne was very helpful in helping me pick out some new frames, which she suggested some black RayBans which i fell in love with immediately. A good looking store with knowledgable staff that are passionate about their product. You might find cheaper specs online but at Maverick & Wolf you are 100% guaranteed the goods are genuine and the advice/service they give is excellent. The lovely Yvonne didn’t just fit the pair I bought, she also repaired my old ones free of charge and fitted my sunglasses. You don’t get that sort of service online! I'll be back for more. The lady here knows how to sell, absolutely took my ex to the cleaners for glasses which were just hideous... It was one of the reasons we broke up. She did me a huge favour. She could have made him look acceptable, instead (probably bored by his dire flirting) she showed everyone what a mess he is, whilst he thought (probably still thinks) he's the bee's knees... This is exactly the service levels we need in retail these day. Thank you

Purchased my first pair of frames/lenses a couple of years ago from here and had such a good experience that I came back this week to get an updated eye test, new style of frame/updated prescription lens. I was very impressed with his enthusiasm and excellent customer service and left the store a very happy customer with the perfect pair of Tom Ford sunglasses. I ordered my first prescriptioned glasses from Maverick&Wolf. Today I went to pick them up, and they are just perfect. From start to finish the amazing Ivana was taking care of me. I have zero experience with glasses, prescriptions and everything that comes with it. I had set my mind on a model that I had seen on TV. They were not available at the time, so Ivana ordered them for me from Italy. She made sure all of my questions were answered, and I always felt like I was in great hands. I would go as far as to say that Ivana provided the absolute best customer service experience I've had in the 6 years I've lived in the UK. To sum it up, the glasses are perfect, the service was perfect, and the worries of accidentally ordering the wrong thing were gone the second I stepped foot into the store. Highly recommended, especially if you haven't had glasses before and feel a little bit overwhelmed. Thanks a Million Ivana you're an Angel!!

Fantastic shop for sunglasses!! Just bought a new pair of Persol 649s to replace a damaged pair of 714s that I bought a few years ago from a shop in Crouch End. If you live in West London, or are after a difficult to find pair, don't bother heading into Central London as Maverick & Wolf has one of the best selections of sunglasses around (whole room of RayBan). Really great customer service from Fiona who did a neat job of adjusting the fit of the glasses and she also checked with Luxottica whether my old pair were repairable. Friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. I also paid considerably less than when I bought my last pair. Highly recommended.

Was looking forward to getting new glasses and sunglasses from this company but they just have not got a clue. I went in to the shop and spoke to a male member of staff and asked him about the eye tests. A female member of staff was whispering the answers in his ear. I was quoted £70 for an eye test. When I rang up to book one, even though I thought that this was very high for an eye test I was then quoted £35 by a the lady who answered the phone. They didnt have any availability and when I called the next day to try and get an appointment I was then quoted £60. When I queried this the gentleman who took my call queried it with a colleague and I was then requoted £75. So in 1 visit and 3 phone calls I have now been quoted £70, £35, £60 and finally £75. I was looking for both traditional glasses and also prescription sunglasses with an estimated spend of £1,000 I just dont have the confidence in this company and will take my business elsewhere Update I see someone unknown responded to my review which is a positive thing in my view. My original review stands but I've upgraded the star rating. As a retailer myself ensuring that staff are singing off the same hymn book is essential so let's hope that they all are now.

I was amazingly booked and seen last minute for a same day appointment and even though I was running very late they were still able to happily accommodate me. I was having my eyes tested and was examined by Patricia, I believe optometrist at the the Chipswick branch. She was incredibly friendly, courteous and thorough. She was clearly very specialised and highly trained as she was able recognise, treat, and help manage a somewhat complex and abnormal case. The following day I was emailed a detailed report of her findings. Thank you to the entire team, you were all very helpful!
