Needed a required eye test for work. Booked very easily with a polite receptionist. Very good service on the day. Optician was professional and went over and above what was being paid for by my employer, doing additional tests I needed for personal reasons. Have recommended this optician to my colleagues for when they also need their eyes tested.

Attended today on a whim, Firstly wanted to say the receptionist was fantastic! And extremely helpful a lovely bright character to welcome you to the store. The optician who saw me ( Can’t remember his name unfortunately) was a Gentleman and a scholar! Called out Boots on their obvious lies and attempts to gain money, Offered nothing more than was needed. From now on this shall be my regular optician! I have already recommended numerous colleagues who have attended and are extremely happy with the customer service! Thank you very much from a very happy customer!!

Paine and Hunter Opticians is the best in Plumstead. Mr. RANTEER discovered the CATRACT, Glaucoma for my mother after checking Both eyes and advised her to take the operation as soon as possible. My mother did the operation for both eyes and she is very very happy now and she is very very thankful to Mr. RANTEER and to Paine and Hunter Opticians Plumstead. I will go there my self for check and I really recommend to go there.

I have been with the opticians in lakedale road for years. It has recently been taken over and omg it's fantastic! It feels very homely and they make you feel so welcome and are helpful. I've had a problem with my eyes that NO optician has been able to tell me what it is until now. These are brilliant. I cant rate them enough x
