There was a bit of a mix-up with the time I booked my eye test in but this was solved over the phone. The store was quite busy but every single person from the staff was lovely. They were all very patient and friendly at all times, especially the girl who was in reception. There was a customer being very rude to her but she didn't lose her cool and continue to be very polite. The doctors who conducted my eye test were also great and explained everything to me. And finally, they were very serious about cleaning any frames that people touch and overall security protocols due to Covid. I felt safe and valued as a customer. I strongly recommend this store, the service was great.

Came here for a test a couple of weeks ago and picked up new glasses yesterday, was really impressed with how the store was operating with social distancing and cleaning. Both of my visits I greeted and helped by Lucy and she was very attentive, really great.

I know it's due to the virus but haven't had a txt message to explain when and how I'm going to get my glasses.? As I've paid in full with no glasses? Would like feedback please thankyou!!

Some harsh reviews, I went today for my first eye test in many years. I was seen by Saliha and Latifah who were fantastic to deal with, very honest and informative giving me guidance on my appointment and how to proceed without pushing me to buy anything. It's a small and cosy place but they have serious members of staff who know what they're doing and know how to help. I didn't feel forced or rushed into anything, I was in here for over an hour. I'd highly recommend getting an eye test here considering the fact it's currently free.

Friendly and helpful staff and this has now become the my regular Specsavers for eye tests etc as opposed to Woolwich. Also the Sainsbury's cafe just outside is a good place for those waiting for people who are having an eye examination

I was unsure whether or not to give this place 2 stars or 3, though decided 3, as the initial customer service I received was magnificent. Unfortunately it was the later information that had be baffled. I was informed that I could just go in to collect my glasses, on Monday, which was great as it's my only day off work. I called up to check that my glasses where there and they were. Amazing. Then the person on the phone told me I had to make an appointment to collect them an it would be an appointment in at least two days. It's completely inconvenient for me, as I work everyday, apart from Mondays. I would have booked an appointment for Monday had I known this. As someone who has said multiple times this is the best place I've been for glasses, I'm extremely disappointed.

Went for my appointment for 11.05 on Sunday but found the shutters closed at 11am, a shop assistant was waiting to do her shift but a worker who had the keys to the door was running late she got there at 12pm an hour late. As this store is in Sainsbury’s Store itself I can’t see why security of Sainsbury’s don’t hold spare keys to specsaves for this reason. I did get seen but did not leave the store till about 1.30pm my plans for the rest of the day had to be altered. But after all this the staff did a grand job and was a very Good service

Dr. Sahela Sheikh ! You are brilliant. Honestly you are so patient, cheerful and very informative. You taught me what to learn about my eyes and how it looks like in an easy approach even my son loved you.! Honestly I wouldn't have bough new Glasses without your help and showing me all what suites my face & Age :). Julia, was so welcoming when I came into my appointment, helped me feel comfortable and made sure I was well served by all the team. Thank you very much guys

Thank you so much to Sahela for your help and service this morning. I was really shocked at how attentive and helpful a staff member at spec savers could be. I was a little nervous this morning as I couldn’t see anything but she really helped put me at ease and did her best before she had another appointment to deal with. Sahela really went out of her way to give me the best service possible and I was so grateful as I really needed it. She then handed me over to Amal who helped me chose a two pairs of glasses. I noticed the difference upon arrival met with a smile by Khadijah on Wed.7th July and she cheerfully went through the necessary screening and was directed for Prescreen with Megan, that also went smoothly, she was so attentive and attention to detail and l had to say done before and then met Sahela to realise she is the New Director, it began to make sense. My dispenser was Ebs and she also provided me with a great service. If there was a greater rating, l would give. Thanks so much for making my visit worthwhile. Keep up the good work guys. Out of ALL the Specsavers I've been to this is by far the BEST!!! For me the customer service was refreshingly outstanding; I give them 100% for satisfaction. Saban; what a nice young man, he went above and beyond to help me to choose my glasses; with patience and attentative to my specific need, Saban is the reason why I'm happy i gave Specsavers another chance. Yes it did take sometime for me to get through on the phone to the store; which was quite frustrating but given the current climate it's understandable. I think this could be made easier if a central number answered calls for the stores, as I believe this would elieviate some of the pressure for staff in stores. Saban Lucy Ebbs and All staff continue to keep up the good work, and Thankyou for being their for your customers in this time #essentialworkers
