Good store/company to go if you in need of eye tests or get glasses. Staff friendly and professional and they look after you when you go for an eye test. Sometimes waiting time is long but when your time come, they are looking after you very professionally. I recommend this or any specsavers store.

The staff have a wide knowledge of the products they are selling. Care is taken between customers and everything is wiped clean before the next customer is seen too. The staff are very friendly and are informative and unusually for a eye shop do not have a hard sell policy as you get with other shops in this industry. All in all a very pleasant experience and will use again in the future.

Love both sets of glasses, very pleased with East Ham’s Specsavers staff, they were very professional but also very pleasant and helpful. I did seem to queue for a while before any tests were started, they seem to book lots of people for the same time, but once the examination was finished and I picked my glasses I was out within 40 minutes, not too shabby.

Usually pretty crowded but the staff is pretty helpful and considerate. It tends to get very busy in late afternoons so if you want a swift service you should try to go early when it's emptier. Simple and free eye checkup appointments are pretty easy to get, usually get one within the week, can be booked online. Glasses orders take about 1-2 weeks, contact lenses take longer. It's a small local business so I can imagine it's not easy to accommodate and be convenient for so many customers, there are 3 more optician stores nearby however.

Shop nice and clean with a variety of different glasses. Staff are really friendly and show that they care about every aspect of your visit. They give a thorough examination and they offer special eye tests if needed at a small cost. The staff member helped me pick glasses that suited me. She was patient and very helpful.

Leaving a review for my son's very first eye test, he was looked after very well and I was impressed with how they treated him. As a parent you want you child to be made to feel at ease, especially for their first visit and this was definitely the case for us, this is not even our local branch but we will stick with this one for sure. Keep up the good work.

Purchased these spectacles for £110. Didn’t bother to look at them properly while collecting, I put them on, they seemed good. And I walked out. Later when I reached home I noticed the frame was scratched. Couldn’t be bothered to go back and argue over it because I had no proof the scratches were on it before leaving the place.

I was prescribed the wrong contact lenses. When I went into have my eye test I saw a gentleman named Deurim Dogan. He was so helpful, he re-tested my eyes explained everything thoroughly ensured I was comfortable with the new prescription also listened to what I had to say. He took his time whilst trying to sort the mistake out double checking he wasn’t giving me the wrong prescription again. I have been going to specsavers since I was small out of all the eye tests I have had this was the best experience only if everyone did their jobs from the heart.

It's accessable because it's at the heart of the high street and there are staffs that are very helpful and know what they do. I gave 3 stars based on my experience with certain staff not knowing what they're doing and not provided me with adequate information and worse of all mess up my prescription order.

Getting a good time and date is easy as you can book online. The waiting time varies; if they’re really busy then it can take up to an hour to be seen for your appointment but majority of the time you will be seen within 10 minutes. The pre appointment tests are really good, they do other extra checks which come with a charge but you are told upfront about it and can decline. The actual appointment is very straight forward and you have plenty of opportunity to discuss or ask questions if need be. Compared to other opticians I would definitely say Specsavers is well worth the money as I have been to boots who charge a ridiculous amount of money for branded lenses where as Specsavers offer good prices and deals such as the 2 for 1 on the £69 and up range. Their extra additions such as anti-glare or reactions are fairly priced compared to other competitors. They have a wide variety of lenses from low cost to branded ones as well as sunglasses. Specsavers also offer contact lenses in various colours and companies so you don’t ever have to settle. All in all I have always had a positive experience and am well looked after when ever I come here.

Went there for my eye test. Waited for a while but it was normal. They have a new way of testing eyes, it's all with machines now. Took about 15 minutes. Very helpful staff, they helped me choose frames and took me through the ordering and payment process which went smoothly. Been with SpecSavers for the last 5 years and hope to stay with them for many more years to come.

My first visit to do eye test was not a good experience however when I came back for second visit and collect my glasses it was a complete change for a pleasant experience..could do more for putting information signs in the store to make it easy for customers specially for senior citizens...hopefully when I go next time it will be more of customer friendly experience

Excellent staff and fantastic customer service. Went there to make only an eye test to get a pair of glasses, and they diagnosed quickly some eye infections and directed me straigh away to hospital, got results straight away, they saved my eyesight from bigger complications. It took only 20 minutes. Good job, thank you!

Terrible waiting time.... Unexperienced apprentice opticians examining your eyes...... Got my contact lenses prescription recently which according to the optician stayed same even when glass prescription has changed 2x more than previous expired prescription!!! I would not recommend them!!!

I visited the store last month and found the staff very helpful. The optician who saw me 'Kyaw' was very professional and took his time to explain the process to me and the different lens options available to me. Been going here for about 3 years. The staff are very polite and helpful. The only thing is the waiting times can be very long as a couple of times I've been in there over 1 hour waiting to have my eye test and contact lense check.

Average Quality Service.. Always a long wait to see the Opticians, If you planning to go here make sure you have at least 2 hours in your hand.. Hence the 3 Star.. Also felt Specsavers is bit more Pricy then anyone else in the Market.. On top of the, if went to but a glass, then will just keep adding extra, for example: Anti Glair Quote, Glass Thickness (If you have short-sight and need prescription glass, which is always..), Also can't modify the Glass even after paying £200.. Deliver is also very slow, almost 2 weeks., i know its not Mcdonalds, but 2 weeks is long time.. The Customer Service people are very helpful and Polite..
