Went in last week to see if my glasses could be mended and came out with 2 new arms. Couldn’t be more grateful to the young lad who mended them, at no charge. I’ve been going to Specsavers, Tottenham Court Road for over 5 years and the experience has always been brilliant.. Near where we live, Surbiton Specsavers couldn’t have been more different. They were not at all helpful and prove that it’s all about the people!

Had varifocals changed twice at Tottenham Court Road & still my vision through the glasses are still blurry, 2cd set of lens were even worse then original as they moved to the position wrong so that when I looked straight ahead it was all blurry. I had to revert back to original varifocal lens, also I was told there nothing else that can be done by manger wouldn't recommended to anyone as the service is at the lowest standard, my new frames were also scratched apon picking glasses up only to be told by a manager that he can't see how the lab would do this.

I had ordered a pair of glasses quite recently and I was amazed by the great customer service offered by all members of staff whilst still being limited by how much they could help due to the new Covid restrictions. All staff were very respectful, kind and tended to my needs and preferences when it came to selecting a new pair of glasses for myself and my wife. Everybody was great but one person that stood out in particular to me was the manager Shenaz who helped me choose the glasses and put the order through, she helped me look for the best alternatives without it being too costly while still giving me what i wanted. Overall I am very happy with my experience at specsavers and I will definitely be coming to this particular branch.

Very helpful staff who did essential maintenance on my glass frame arms which l had unfortunately sat on. I commented on what l believed was a design flaw and l was gently corrected ' madam if the arms had been totally plastic they would have shattered under your weight( NB lm under 9 st). He said it so politely and knowledgeably with no judgement. I certainly will be more careful in the future when lm taking a photo. I'll put them on a hard surface well away from what lm doing. The store was quiet so we could conduct a detailed conversation even through our masks. He did the repair very efficiently offering to do further adjustments any time l was passing. It's not a branch l visit often but l would say their staff training goes the extra mile and there's a sense of pride in their level of service you might not experience elsewhere. It's a spacious branch on two floors with well laid out displays. Worth asking for assistance in choosing new frames.

Went into the Tottenham Court Road shop today to buy my first pair of glasses, I felt really daunted by all the choices and had no idea which ones would suit be best but one of the optical advisors called Daniel D helped me so much and made my experience really enjoyable. He helped me pick a whole range of styles that would suit my face shape and took the time to help me pick the perfect pair of glasses. He was so patient and really put the effort into helping me pick the glasses that suited me best and didn’t make me feel rushed or that I was taking up too much time. The most helpful opticians I have ever been to! Drew was very friendly and went out of his way to assist. I was visiting my partner and was down in London from Glasgow, I came in at 1830 on a Saturday evening with some damaged glasses - Drew repaired these as best as he could (they were beyond repair, but it was enough to get by!) Drew then arranged for me to have an eye test that evening, and my new glasses were ready for collection by lunchtime on Sunday in time for my train back north. A genuinely fantastic experience and by far the best Specsavers branch I have ever been to (that's at least 6!) Thanks!

Utmost quality. Never have I been to a better eye store than Specsavers Tottenham Court. Not only did their employees consistently treat me with fantastic customer service whenever I visited the store (and I visited many times), their in-store policies are amazing. When I came in a month later after ordering an updated pair of glasses from them, I informed them that my right eye felt blurry. Within moments, they gave me a free eye check-up for the next day and ultimately a free replacement for the right lens. The staff here were so lovely and helpful! I came in because my glasses had broken and I didn’t have any contacts or backup glasses, and they went above and beyond to help me. They ordered me new contacts and glasses, and even gave me a few spare pairs of contacts from a trial box so I’d be able to see until everything came in. 5 stars especially after the following incident. Thoroughly impressed. I have been a customer for contact lens for around 10 years here. I've always had good service. Yesterday, I went in to collect a pair of lens with changed prescription. A lady (I forgot to get her name), picked up contact lens for a different person (with same surname), however, asked me to book an appointment for a fit. I knew, I didn't need such an appointment. Anyway, she didn't allow me to just take the lens away (which I was insisting). On checking (after quite a bit of confusion), it was found they were not for me. Then she found the right ones. I am impressed that even though I was insisting I am happy to take the lens away (without a fit appointment), she stood her ground and did the right thing. Thanks to a lot, especially to her. Thanks to the whole team for the good work and service over the years.

I've done my glasses near my work place at your London Wall branch with Jess who was amazing. However, due to the current situation and cause I needed my frames adjusted as they were too tight behind my ears, I went into my local branch at East Ham. The lab person adjusted them for me but when I got home I've noticed 2 fingerprint smudges(picture) in the middle of the lenses. I've called the East Ham branch immediately from where the receptionist told me to phone London Wall as they don't have my details in the system. I've called and spoke with the manager in London Wall who said it's East Ham's fault and she will call them up with my details and tell them to arrange a time so I could go in to get them fixed and she'll call me back. It's been 2 weeks and she never called so I called today again and because of Covid crisis I got in touch with Sammie at Tottenham branch. She said she emailed my details over to East Ham and I should call them up again to discuss it with them as it's their fault. I've phoned EH and after a while a rude lady picked up who said "they shouldn't have adjusted my glasses in the first place as they were not done in their store, that I should've been rejected because they're a franchise but they've done the adjustment out of goodwill and she will talk to the manager today in his day off to talk to the London Wall branch as they're not taking responsibility for what happened".She said the manager will call me, needless to say no one did! So I called back to Tottenham and spoke with ROB!! and thank God I did! He was the only helpful person I've dealt with who actually listened to my issue and actually wanted to help me so I was able to go to the Tottenham branch and get my glasses fixed in a few hours. But only thanks to Rob. I had my glasses for 1 month and was unable to wear them with all this issues. If it wasn't for Rob's kindness I wouldn't be writing this now. I cannot emphasise enough how reassuring and sincere he was. Also he called back when he said he will unlike all the other people I've dealt with. He deserves a huge pay rise and all the recognition he can get. He's a legend!!! Top notch customer service even if I didn't do my glasses in this branch he still helped me. Give him a rise, a promotion, a paid holiday, anything! I would highly recommend this branch to anyone who wants to deal with nice people who care about you and your concerns. Please check your EAST HAM branch as the customer service is horrible and all the employees are rude!

Well where do I begin! As soon as I arrived I was greeted by the friendly staff downstairs and upstairs. My appointment was swift (thanks Kara - I think that’s her name. She’s the young blonde woman with glasses upstairs). My optician James was thorough and super friendly. He explained everything that I needed and went the extra mile to insure that I had an exceptional appointment. He’s a top optician... so make sure you request him! I left feeling confident that I got an A class service and that my eyes are being supported in the best way. When I went to chose my glasses I was supported by the charismatic and enthusiastic Daniel, who made sure that I knew about the different ranges. He never missed a beat and ensured that I had top service. I was surprised that he was a new member of staff, because he seemed extremely knowledgeable about the products. His attention to detail and positive customer focused approach should merit him a raise/promotion. Specsavers are lucky to have him. Keep him whilst you can. I eventually was able to collect my results in the end but sales wasn't too cheery by then. My fiancé also had problems with their booking and ordering system. She needed to get lenses for our holiday but was unable to resolve in time - so quite annoyed with this.

Well the much awaited revamp has happened. It hasn't obviously increased stock capacity but the layout seems much improved. The displays are clearly priced from £25 upwards to £165, frame plus different types of lenses too and the lighting above the racks is kinder on the eye and the complexion ! There's a tablet desk near the entrance so you can check out the website to order in a colour choice or use the ' how would l look in these frames' facility. For those of us who are very myopic this is invaluable. You no longer have to ask strangers in store what they think or press yourself up to the mirror and squint at your reflection. Staff won't let you select an unsuitable frame for your prescription or an unflattering one. The aftercare is brilliant too. No matter what kind of clutzy things you subject your new glasses to, they're ready willing and able to put them to rights, which makes the initial heavy financial outlay on new specs feel less painful. Never be frightened either to delay your choice by writing down style reference numbers you like, then checking them on line later to help you decide. Don't buy under pressure. Ask about donating your old frames to a charity too.The cleaning and adjustment machine is now just beside the till so getting a quick spruce really easy.

I needed to fix my glasses and they did it in no time. friendly staff. Drew, the guy who helped me was very kind. Not in every optician store the staff is willing to repair your glasses (if is that possible) instead of selling a new ones. Here they know when you just need to replace or fix a piece of your glasses in a rush.

I was very impressed when I spoke to the Eastern European lady in the Contact Lens section at Tottenham Court Rd, she said she would check today's deliveries and ring back to let me know. Today I had really excellent service from Nabil at Specsavers Tottenham Court Road. My son had broken his glasses and really needs them for school tomorrow. At this branch they were out of stock in the frames, but Nabil did everything he could to help us. He tried many options and eventually fitted the lenses into a different frame while we waited. I have to admit, having attended the Belfast store on previous occasions and received fantastic service I was expecting that the TCR Specsavers to be far too busy and impersonal to have the same experience. Fortunately, I was wrong and I received fantastic service from Solomon who helped me to choose my new frames. It is important that I point out I am hugely fussy about frames as I have spent too much money on glasses I have never worn! Despite my very particular requirements Solomon was patient, exceptionally well-mannered and incredibly helpful. I deliberated lengthily over every pair but Solomon stayed professional and alert to my feedback and I could see that he was searching high and low (and in store cupboards) to find frames akin to my dream pair! He even stayed on after his shift had ended as I was still changing my mind back and forth. The Essilor X lenses are probably the best varifocal lenses available and with such a big purchase for me, I wanted to make sure I was making the right choice. So I saw Katie and I was extremely glad to have her deal with my new glasses. I was initially going to buy only 1 pair of glasses however Katie laid out the options for a 2nd pair and was able to give me a great price for the lenses and with the 2nd frame for free. For the price, it was very competitive with other companies, and Katie showed that it made sense to get a 2nd pair. Katie was not pushy or forceful and was really knowledgeable and a lot of other staff could learn from her professionalism. My eye test was carried out by Ms Pretti Patel who was also great : really friendly and knowledgable and another credit to this store. Katie took her time in dealing with me, even though it is an extremely busy Store and made sure I was happy with my choices and frames and did not rush me and actually guided me and gave me very good advice on several matters I had not thought of. I would definitely recommend going to see her and I look forward to picking up my glasses. Katie is a real credit to this Store and I hope Management realize that they have such a good employee. Not nearly as cheap as the adverts suggest and staff are keen to recommend the expensive add-ons. Frames change regularly, so its not always possible to get broken frames repair. Staff are knowledgeable but be firm about what you want and don't get spend more than you want. 2 pairs of bifocals with the best visibility will set you back around £350, even with fairly cheap frames.

Best deal you can ever get. I live in nyc and the cost for a basic low prescription glasses , non branded, is around $250 and up. While walking around here in London I found this place and saw the promotional banner of buy one get one free. Not only is the frame free but also the prescription glasses , for both. I've not come across a deal like this in nyc in the past 17 years. At the most I've seen is a free second frame but you have to pay for the prescription glasses. I paid 180gbp totally , which is a cost for just one non branded pair of glasses in nyc. I will definitely recommend people to check them out before you go anywhere else.
