D. S.I highly recommend this place. Customer service is amazing! Optician was very patient with me and eye inspection was great, at the end I got exactly what I needed to relax my eyes over long working hours on PC. If you are not sure of what do you need or want, just ask John, his advice is more than helpful :) By my opinion this is the best place in London by far.
A. F.I've tried more that one optician in the past but Stewart Duncan is where I always go now. The eye tests that Declan does are second to none and the overall service is great. Yesterday I picked up two pairs of new glasses/lenses and last month my son finally got glasses that work well and that he likes wearing. My wife is next up for a new set of contact lenses. Recommended.

Many treat your eyes like a business, pushing products on you that they have the best margins on, while a few others, like Stewart Duncan, actually care about your health and wellbeing. If you want honest, professional eye care, you wont go wrong with Stewart Duncan. A big thank you to John and Anna for going the extra mile.
B. F.Generations of my family have been going to Stewart Duncan for years, hence the introduction. Optician Declan is absolutely charming and totally thorough and professional. Infact, he picked up on an issue that other high street establishments had missed. I am totally reassured that he is monitoring two of my dearest relations - one very elderly and one with underlying health considerations - both of whom need the closest of monitoring.
John the owner is also extremely knowledgeable and so helpful. He offers advice when needed but also gives you space when deciding on frames etc. which is most welcome when faced with such choice! This is the best Opticians by far and we are very lucky to have such a practice in East Finchley.

I don't change my glasses very often as I try to avoid trawling through hundreds of frames that look terrible on me, however, this time the process was utterly painless and very successful. E. W.We have been using Stuart Duncan opticians as a family for years now. They are professional and helpful. The selection of frames may seem a bit basic but I always end up finding a stylish and comfortable paid of glasses which I then wear for ever and I know that if anything happens to my glasses I can always pop into the Stuart Duncan's to have them repaired, normally at very little or even no cost (such as when my glasses were chewed up by our dog, I thought they were beyond repair but the technician miraculously restored them and didn't charge me at all).
Stuart Duncan's are a rare thing in the contemporary high street, an independent shop servicing the local community with a friendly, helpful and professional attitude.
