S. G.An good experience for someone who hasn't had their eyes tested in 20+ years! The optometrist was wonderful - very professional, reassuring and thorough. After the eye test, I chose my frames (a great selection from £25 up). The whole process was painless (literally and metaphorically) from start to finish. Now I wait 7-10 days for my prescription glasses to arrive. Hopefully I haven't jinxed this part of the process with my premature effusive review!

I. D.Brilliant optometrists, friendly and professional. However, disappointed by the sales staff. I’ve been trying to update my direct debit for my contact lenses so I’ve been advised by their customer service to go to their shop to sort it out. Got to their shop one day, 30 mins before closing time to be bluntly told that they are unable to help or it takes too long for them to do it, or I should contact some other department. No contact details given of the department which I was meant to contact. Clearly they couldn’t be bothered which I found very frustrating, as I had to waste my time to go there for absolutely nothing. I’ve just given up and stopped my payments to them.

The manager held the store open for 15 minutes for me, fitted new parts to my frames, and all with a smile, as seems to be the approach from all staff at this branch. R.This is the first time i leave a review rather than a rating but it's one of those things I want to start doing as I believe having a positive attitude, being polite and friendly really makes a difference when it comes to jobs that depend highly on customer services such as this one. I came to this vision express branch after I unfortunately broke my glasses which was quite horrible as I'm blind as a bat without them. the arms were bent quite badly. I wasn't expecting much when entered as I thought the whole point was to misadvise me and try to get me to buy new glasses but I couldn't be any more wrong. I came in and I was greeted by a smile by one of the workers there (I think he's name was Abbas im not too sure as he wasn't wearing a badge but I made sure to ask their names before leaving) he asked how he could help and I explained him the situation and like i mentioned before i was expecting him to say "we can't fix it so buy new glasses" but he sat me down and went straight to work on it. After a couple of minutes a co-worker of his (I think his name was Birjan again I'm not too sure as he wasn't a badge neither) came to see if there was anything he could do to help his co worker. I loved that. The teamwork that I saw really was great and together they were able to not only fix the frame but also screw in new nose things (I don't actually know what they are called) which was a shock to me as not only did the fix a frame which i didn't buy at their store but they went above and beyond by doing more than I asked. And the craziest thing is that they didn't even charge for the outstanding service. I don't need an eye test as of right now but I know where to go when that time comes. Absolutely brilliant service and will 100% recommend my friends and family this store!
