I have been getting my eye tests here for a few years now - and I have no intention of going elsewhere. Archana is very friendly and also very thorough: she will explain to you the reason for certain tests, and also take you through what the best options are for you in terms of lenses and frames, to help you make an informed decision. The range of frames here is really good - the brands have clearly been hand-picked for their appearance and quality. It is not cheap but the quality of the service and the aftercare really make this place stand out. Worth a visit, and once you've been there you may find yourself returning for your next pair of glasses!

I’m very pleased with my new spectacles from VisionOptique - a lovely shop with a great variety of frames to choose from and a very good customer service. I had some problems with the varifocal lenses but Archana went out of her way to try to fix it and at the end she succeeded. She paid a lot of attention to the eye examination and also to the fitting. All in all I received a professional and friendly service but what I most appreciated is that Archana was always available to help.

I wanted to try something different to the mainstream opticians. Vision Optique didn't disappoint. As someone who has glaucoma in the family I wanted to go somewhere I could have that personal care. The equipment is modern and new and the appointment was easy. so If you want a tentative bespoke experience then go there. The prices are competitive and the glass selection is really good and you can see they are chosen with the environment in mind. Archana is lovely very professional and you can tell she loves what she does and is extremely good at it. I came away with a pair of updated smart glasses and have received loads of compliments . It's hard to find a decent, affordable and reliable optician on the High Street - all of the major chains seem to just be trying to sell you something whether you need it or not. With Vision Optique, Archana adds a personal touch and a sense of fun to having an eye exam. Enthusiastic and professional, and with a good choice of frames for every budget, Vision Optique is a stone's throw from Hammersmith High Street and will be the only place I go to now for all my eye care needs.

I recently bought my second pair of glasses from Archana at Vision Optique. The service you receive there is far more personalised than any other optician, and the eye test is thorough and trustworthy. There are a wide variety of options for frames and lenses, and all are beautiful, although Archana is hugely helpful in narrowing down what looks good on your face shape. It's worth noting that it is on the expensive side - yet you get what you pay for. My previous frames had the nose-pads replaced at no extra cost. Thank you, Archana!

I couldn’t be happier with my experience here - Archana clearly knows her stuff and is also so lovely. I drove for 45 minutes to get here because the reviews were so positive and it was absolutely worth it! I got the Blephex treatment done and my eyes feel a lot less gritty and irritated and the redness has calmed down. Archana explained all my options thoroughly and didn’t try to sell me products that I didn’t need which I really appreciated. She also has a really great range of glasses so I’ll definitely be back to get a pair soon! Her collection is far more extensive than anything you’d normally find on the high street. It’s really hard to find an optician that you trust so I’m very glad I’ve found Vision Optique!

Visited Vision Optique earlier this year as really needed a new pair of specs. I ended up buying two pairs - (one Oliver peoples, and one pair made of wood!!) as really liked the choice available. They look great! Have to say was nice to get an honest opinion of what suited me rather than the typical selling approach I've experienced in other chain opticians. What a fantastic store! So much choice and great service. Highly recommend this opticians. Not pushy at all. Don't just take my word for it go in and see for yourselves. I bought my glasses from them a few months ago and was happy with the service and my specs are really clear. I went back again last week for some sunglasses and after trying on a few different shapes and colours, ended up with a Cutler and Gross aviator with hand stitched leather arms. Never seen anything like it in other shops. Everyone comments on how good they look on me. Really happy. If you want someone to spend time helping you choose the right pair for you go to Vision Optique. Definitely worth a look in.

A little local gem. Archana is enthusiastic but clearly knows her subject very well. I came in with a complicated brief for glasses to wear for working that combined a bit of vanity with a desire to have something that helped me read from computer screens and prevented fatigue. Came here for a quick eye test and was well looked after. The tests were clear and actually quite fun! The outcome was that I needed a pair of lense to go and I got quite a selection of specs to choose from. Everything from smart and subtle to stylish and funky and no pressure to go for the pricier ones either, which I quite appreciated. It's a fairly small shop but the staff pay attention to their customer's needs so you do feel you're getting what you paid for. My prescription was absolutely spot on - I can now see inside of 6th floor office buildings from street level! The lenses are scratch resistant but I got the assurance of a replacement should the unthinkable happen. Five star service!

I decided to look for opticians in Google after I received different prescriptions from two high street opticians. Because of the location, Hammersmith, near were I live and several very good reviews I choose Vision Optique, so I booked a test on their website. Once there Archana, the optician, was very patient and understood my concerns given the mixed results I had received earlier. Her work was very comprehensive and she even repeated one of the tests twice to reassure me. I have to say the visit was kind of didactic too, which I like. I choose a Lindberg frame and I received the glasses after a couple of days, now it is almost one month that I have been wearing them and I am really satisfied. If you are looking for value for money, this Opticians might not be the best option. I had an eye test last year and although the customer service was good and the eye test examination thorough, I was not too happy with the price I had to pay for replacing the lenses in my current frames. It cost me around £200 when other opticians charge £50-70 less. Considering how young I am and how often my prescription changes, paying £200 per year is not ideal.

Wonderful pre-sales support and advice in confirming that they sell Hoya lenses. And approx. 5 years later and having had my eyes tested at a regular high street chain opticians, they reported eyes 100% fine and healthy. No prescription change. As a computer programmer and translator, I can't recommend Hoya lenses and Vision Optique London enough. Great products, great service.

Archana at Vision Optique has finally sorted a problem with my eyes that affected my focusing when driving, watching films and the like. Having worn hard contact lenses for over 50 years, she suggested soft lenses with prisms as well as regular glasses with prisms. She spent 2 1/2 hours with me the first time I saw her, examining my eyes thoroughly and carefully to determine what the problem was. The service has been exceptional, and she is continuing to work on my changing eyes to get my vision properly fixed. I am over the moon to have found someone who could really deal with my problem; my prior high street optometrist simply ignored it. I can't rate Archana and Vision Optique highly enough!

I recently paid a brief visit to London from Indonesia and took the opportunity to get my eyes checked. At very short notice Archana gave me an appointment and within 5 days i had a new pair of varifocal glasses in some very smart and lightweight frames and a supply of contact lenses. I recently went to see Archana at Vision Optique, as I was having trouble with my right eye, which felt gritty, dry and uncomfortable. Archana took so much trouble to see what the problem could be, reassuring me it was fairly superficial but at the same time it was important to treat it straightaway. At the same time I had my eyes checked. I thought my eyesight wasn't too bad, but I have in fact reached the stage of needing glasses to drive and watch television etc. Archana was lovely, reassuring me this is normal for my age (44) and together we chose a pair of glasses which I'm thrilled with. Altogether a great experience, and I wouldn't hesitate to go back or recommend to anyone else.

I have been slightly disappointed with Vision Optique. Great choice of frames and lenses but wihin a year the arm of my glasses has fallen off twice. Fortunately, I was indoors on both occasions. On the first visit, it was repaired within a day but, this week the shop has been closed most days, so I decided to have it fixed by David Clulow. My glasses were ready the following day for free.

I am so glad I found Vision Optique in Hammersmith as they have managed to get my prescription perfected (I have astigmatism as well as complex severe shortsighted vision), order the best contact lenses for me in super quick time, and respond rapidly to any eye emergency that comes up. What a refreshing change. Disagree about this place not being value for money. being in the heart of hammersmith and being very close to the station makes it easy for me to get to. wanting to stand out from the crowd is something i have always done and when it comes to spectacles, there isn't a better place i can think of than Vision Optique on Hammersmith road W6. i found frames in this wonderful shop that i would never find in the more 'well known' opticians like specsavers or vision express. so if it is bespoke eyewear you are looking for then this is the place to be.. definitely5 stars out of 5 for customer service as well as the range of frames.
