Very pleased with efficiency of eye test and explanation given of my problems. However, having chosen my new spectacles, I was surprised at the total cost, but at the time did not question it, I had chosen a Boots frame for £100.00. I was being seen by a very personable young man and, very stupidly, did not question the total price, until later that evening at home. My receipt did not explain how the cost was arrived at so I telephoned the store. I now find that I have paid an additional £375.00 for varilux lenses, obviously top of the range, but I was not asked if I wanted these, it was presumed as I had them before. I tried to cancel the order but have been told it is not possible as manufacture has started. Really!! My eye test was late Friday am, today is Saturday, are the manufacturers even working today! I only hope my spectacles are worth it as it seems I am stuck with them, my fault but in future will have to ask more questions.

My Wife and I both had eye tests today with Hanisha, and we would to say how pleased we were with the service she gave. She gave my wife lots of information about a problem she has with one eye. I was also very pleased with Richard as he sorted my new glasses for me.

Professional compassionate with cutting edge accuracy I underwent an eye biopsy a few weeks ago in Moorfield London and was instructed to go to a local optician to have the bandage lens taking out after 7 days. I contacted a few optician shops such as Vision Express Specsaver but none wanted to help. I called Boots Optician, despite their earliest available appointment was 3 months away in June, they fitted me in on the 7th day after my eye procedure. David, whom I known was an optician/Optometrist there saw me. As it was not the kind of tasks he performed daily, he took time and removed the bandage from my eye with great care and skill. He refused any payment that I should have paid for the time spent and materials used. He sent me away with warm good wishes. It is no wonder Boots Optician/Pharmacy is of such iconic establishment in the community. It cares about the people in it as shown in their approach to their customer care, which is outstanding and flows from their friendly Reception team to the qualified Optician/Optometrist.

Very good eye test. Unfortunately my new glasses broke within 3 weeks, however these were replaced immediately without question. The replacement pair broke within 3 days. Boots then allowed me to choose a new style and provided these at no cost. The service was very good and certainly customer focused whilst the issues were sorted.

I went there after a poor experience at another opticians and they were very helpful. Amanda was very thorough and I left feeling like I had incredible good service for the price.

My daughter went there and they have given her an emergency after school appointment to check up her eye, that was troubling her. During that appointment they carried out a full eye test and could not have been more helpful. It turned out, she just needed a spray, as her eyes were not moist enough. Will go there with my younger daughter soon and hope they will be just as good with her.
