I visited your store in Oxford yesterday after asking a friend where she bought her very cool glasses from. Your website looked amazing but I wanted to see for myself what the concept was all about. It was super easy to shop, the store and environment felt young, vibrant and had unique styles. Jamie helped us both choose glasses and sunglasses and gave us good advice. We came away feeling like we had the perfect glasses for us. Great service and a fun experience. Thank you Paula

The team at Ace and Tate Oxford were amazing! Sam was incredibly friendly and helpful while I choose my new frames (Jay Large) and gave out expert fashion advice. Alex’s fashion advice was also top grade and she was able to make up my prescription super speedily. I paid around 2pm and collected them at 4.30. All in all an outstanding team with great products and fantastic service. Highly recommended!!!

I have been a happy customer of Ace&Tate for more than 2 years already and I love their products, for the style, quality and prices. But I really need to call out this Oxford branch for their service and kindness. The staff (a special shoot-out to Daisy) is extremely helpful and goes above and beyond to ensure that you are satisfied and happy with your glasses, no matter how many questions/requests you may have or what type of problem.

Worth the £-tag. Really great service all throughout. Optician was really friendly and helpful, . Same for the floor staff, who helped me find a pair of glasses that suited me (and that I wouldn't hate wearing!) without me feeling like a bother. Extremely professional and friendly service. I got a free eye test here, and optometrist Mandev has spent a lot of time and took good care to arrive at the optimal prescription for me, even though I haven't even committed to buying glasses from them (which I probably will now!). The shop assistant was also very friendly, and has advised on which frames may work better for me. Highly recommend!

I bought a pair of Ace and Tate glasses online just before lockdown began and social distancing measures were put in place. Last week I visited the store in Oxford to get these glasses adjusted. The staff were very helpful both on the phone before visiting and during my visit. The precautions they'd put in place to make sure that customers and staff remained safe were impressive and made me feel very comfortable. They were able to adjust my lenses in twenty minutes! Great product and great service!

I will never be using any optician other than this one again. The staff are friendly and helpful. The range of frames is lovely. I only paid £98 for a beautiful pair of glasses with reduced thickness lenses and coatings which would normally cost much more. Also, as I am very shortsighted I wasn’t sure how thin the lenses would be as it is included in the price, but they’re thinner even than when I paid £90 for just the thinner lenses not including frame etc at another optician. The sight test is free and from test to picking up the service was faster than the usual high street opticians.

I had my first eye test as an adult and was quite nervous today. Their optometrist Mandev was really friendly and took plenty of time to test carefully and explain everything to me and reassured me of the process and what I needed. Definitely recommend, love their frames as well they are also reasonably priced with no hidden add-ons .

Nice range of frames, and extremely good value for money. I was impressed that the 'all in' price included my varifocal lenses and various coatings that I usually pay extra for. I can't see any difference in quality between these and my previous pair (from another optician) that cost more than twice the price. Friendly and helpful staff.

Wow. Now this is exceptional customer service! We were told that certain glasses were only available as 'tints'. So when the kind optometrist at the shop said they'd try to fit lens in store- that was music to my ears. 15 minutes later the glasses were ready for pick up. Competitors like Cubitts, Kite & Moscot (I've tried them all)- TAKE NOTE. Exceptional customer service is the difference between good & a great experience! Ace & Tate Oxford team- Well done! Can't wait for my next pair :-)
