The staff in-store are wonderful. They treat everyone with great care and dignity. I have a customer for over 20 years and have never been anything other than impressed. On my most recent visit they helped to alleviate my worries and listen to my concerns. They should be anyone's first port of call in Swansea if you need any ocular treatment.

I popped into store whilst I was in town to ask about getting my glasses fixed. James was very helpful and fixed my glasses, for free, right away. Very pleased with the efficient service.

I was seen on time, and the eye test was prompt and quick, and I was treated with Patience when trying to choose glasses that suited me for the first time. Nice experience!

Had to wait for a long time to be seen and was not given any explanation until I was finally called. I should have had an explanation when I arrived. Apart from that it was excellent service as usual. Max is really nice and even remembered me from a previous visit a couple of years ago. He’s very good at his job and solved a problem that I had had for some time.

So far so good but not received my glasses yet so may be too soon to rate! Neath branch for the actual test - seemed ok . Could you find frames I like as selection nit great as it’s a small store (move to a big store please ! ) So traipsed to Swansea branch. Attentive and helpful - reminded me to fill out survey and quote James! Let’s see what happens when glasses come in. (Very unhappy with Specsavers as Neath branch refused to serve me as they previously had to refund glasses that were constantly slipping down my nose, so let’s hope Vision Express after sales customer service is better )

Friendly, helpful staff. Trying contacts for the first time and trying to find the best ones for me. Can’t fault the optician at all. He goes above and beyond to ensure we find the best fit for me. I prefer contact lenses to glasses. My 2 year old can no longer break my glasses. No more cleaning the person she’s every 2 minutes due to my little man touching them.

I first walked into Vision Express when it opened in the Quadrant, in 1998 I believe… in all that time the staff have changed many, many times… who ever attended me they have always been helpful and welcoming… and even today, though the staff are much younger than me now, and despite my recent visit being the first time into the city in two years, and thus talked far too much - they were warm and welcoming, all while under pressure from the consequences of this ‘virus’… I wonder who I’ll meet there, in the next twenty years? I think it may always be a welcome…

ing process began,I was informed as to what to expect at each stage and reassured.Offers regarding any purchase were also mentioned prior to my seeing Daniel the optometrist.He was extremely professional,talking through each stage of the testing process and also double checking if I hesitated.As I hadprism fitted last year,he said I needed it again as I was experiencing double vision when tired.He illustrated the difference with /without the prism so I could see the effect.I would still be put on the annual test list as a small cataract was also spotted.I felt totally reassured by his treatment of myself and my problems. I chose frames with help from the showroom assistant and was pleased with the whole experience,including the price. I am now awaiting my new spectacles

I had a good experience with Vision Express in Swansea. A nice Central branch clean and tidy and nice staff. I was seen by a lovely patient optician who explained what she was doing and why. I learnt a couple of things that hadn't been explained by other opticians

First class service! Reception went out of their way to fit me in for an emergency appointment for my 7 year old daughter. The attention and care received was exemplary and a second appointment was needed a couple of days later as drops needed to be put in my daughter's eyes for more checks. She was very nervous about this, having had it done a few years ago at the hospital but the optician put her at ease and helped her relax. Everything was explained so clearly from start to finish at both appointments. My daughter was then told she had all the time in the world to choose a pair of frames (her first glasses) - despite the shutters being pulled down as the store had by then closed. I could not have asked for a better experience. They are wonderful at dealing with children and could not have been friendlier or more professional. There is one woman on reception who comes across as rather abrupt but we only spoke to her for a couple of seconds at the first appointment and the rest of the staff were absolutely excellent. It is a shame if one person, out of so many, is generating bad reviews.

Excellent service was phoned and reminded of my appointment the day before when I arrived didn't have to wait had the normal tests then went into see options who was very nice and efficient it was all over very quickly eyes had not changed and was not asked if I wanted any glasses as my eyes were fine and was asked if I wanted my prescription so I could choose new glasses when I wanted them and from where I wanted to buy them from
