I had an emergency appointment with Ibuntu and the care I received was professional and personable. I was feeling really anxious about my situation and both the optician and receptionist were so welcoming and reassuring. The optician was genuinely very caring and I felt safe throughout the whole procedure and she explained everything to me. Thank you so much to you both. I also ended up buying some prescription glasses from them, I really like their choice of frames. Thanks again for you help and kindness.

An Opticians whose staff work to the highest professional standards. They are friendly and helpful people who do their best to listen and provide the very best service. I highly recommend Sandi and the whole team at iBuntu Opticians. The knowledge and equipment they have surpasses any other eye test I have EVER had. The customer service and care shown is expectational. They have an excellent range of glasses and sunglasses to pick from, and you are helped all the way through to when your glasses are ready for collection and fitting.

We have been using iBunto Opticians for a year now for both our daughters eye tests. The Optometrist Sandhya is so thorough and so friendly. We have been so impressed that we wouldn’t dream of going to another Opticians. My daughter needed a pair of sports glasses for an upcoming competition, which iBunto ordered from bollé. It was very short notice and we didn’t think that they would arrive in time. However, Holly and Georgie kindly chased them daily for us, to make sure that they arrived in time. They kept me fully updated, which I really appreciated. They even stayed after closing hours to ensure the glasses fitted my daughter correctly. I cannot recommend this Opticians enough, you definitely receive a personal service. All the staff go above and beyond. Thank you iBunto.

Sandy is a great optician - nothing is too much trouble for her and I was given a very thorough eye exam before she recommended my varifocal contact lenses. Both she and Holly are very helpful and friendly and I've never once regretted leaving my previous high street chain. This is a much more personal experience.

I am delighted with my new glasses, the best ones I’ve had prescribed for years. Sandi was delightful, careful and professional, patiently taking her time. We tried varifocals, a first for me, but I could not adjust to them, sadly (no fault of Sandi’s). Sandi had offered to exchange these if not suitable, and she did so with the minimum of fuss. Both myself and my wife had our first appointments with Ibuntu recently after our former opticians closed. We both found the experience an excellent one. We found the eye examination with Sandiya was in both cases incredibly thorough. She was reassuring and efficient and obviously knew what she was doing. My wife was helped to choose a pair of glasses that in terms of design was a departure from her previous pair. She was delighted with the glasses and when she came back with me, Sandiya noticed that they needed a slight adjustment to help them sit better. As part of my eye test, Sandiya was concerned about my Blepharitis and provided me with advice and medication to help me deal with this minor but sometimes annoying condition. This went beyond my expectations of an eye test. Sandiya and Holly were also helpful in helping me choose frames from their wide range of product. We are looking forward to collecting my glasses in a few days and in developing a longstanding relationship with this new practice.

Sandhya and the team offer an exceptional high standard of service and attention to customer care. I was impressed at the efficient booking of my son's appointment and the time and care taken during the examination. As the parent of a highly anxious child, even routine appointments can be stressful for all involved. The examination was handled in a calm and stress-free way and the time that Sandhya took to explain what she was doing really made what could have been a very stressful situation really calm and relaxed. My son really enjoyed the explanation about the digital picture of his eyes and I was really impressed at how quickly the new prescription glasses arrived (48 hours must be a record!). The appointment to fit and correct was straightforward and smooth. A clear and easy five stars from me, Ibuntu's reputation for really good customer service is well deserved. No hesitation to recommend.

I have quite poor eyesight and had the very scary experience of a detached retina a couple of years ago. As a consequence I am very conscious of ensuring I have regular eye tests. The eye test at iBunto is the most comprehensive that I’ve ever had. The attention to detail at all stages of the process has been outstanding. Fantastic service at this optician over the Aug BH. On holiday in the area and had forgotten my distance glasses. After trying boots, specsavers and vision express of which none could help within a 2 week window..found this optician who did everything to help me, and called the lens manufacturer to confirm if they could get lens made up ASAP, which they did and ended up getting my new pair of glasses within 24 hours. Also helped me pick a suitable frame and contacted me by email and phone to confirm glasses were ready for pick up. Really went out if they’re way to help and made sure I had enough contact lens etc in case of any delay. Easy parking outside shop and two of the most nicest and pleasant girls to meet. Thank you to you both.

Sandya and Holly are so very thorough and obviously care so much about their profession. Far and away the most intensive eye test I’ve ever had. Professional help with lots of choices of frames and excellent after-care. I will never go anywhere else again! .

I highly recommend iBuntu Opticians in Truro. My recent eye examination was carried out by the resident Optometrist, Sandhya Dharumpal. Sandhya is highly qualified and uses state of the art equipment - all very reassuring, particularly as there is a history of glaucoma in my family. She gave me a thorough eye examination (a far cry from the more hurried examinations I have experienced in chain opticians in the past), conducted in a professional yet kind and caring manner. When it came to chosing, measuring and fitting my new varifocal specs, Holly and Ellie were very helpful and thorough too. There was a great range of frames, displayed in a contemporary setting - I am very happy with my choice.

There are not enough stars here to recommend Sandhya at Ibuntu highly enough. At a routine appointment last week she detected a retinal tear/detachment and within 24 hours I was at Bristol Eye Hospital awaiting surgery. Her quick actions saved the sight in my eye. Went for a routine eye test and they discovered I had unknown retinal tears, and arranged for me to have emergency laser surgery at Treliske within 24 hours. I have never had a more comprehensive eye test/examination and would not hesitate to recommend Ibuntu.

From the simple online appointment service to the final fitting every aspect of the service provided was first class. The full explanation of each aspect accompanied by the careful examination of eyesight and eye health was thorough and re-assuring. A patient helpful and no pressure fitting session with a great range of frames preceeded a final session where subtle adjustments were made to ensure a proper and comfortable fit. Refreshing to have found a team of people determined to provide the best yet who charge most average of fee's. I have no hesitation in recommending Ibuntu on the basis of the comprehensive, professional and friendly caring approach taken by Sandhya and her team and wish them the success they deserve in indepenent practice.

Had a dyslexia screening and Sandy was so understanding and I didn’t feel judged at all. Being someone who is extremely self conscious about my reading I didn’t feel uncomfortable one bit. I didn’t realise just how much I needed this but now I have my glasses and colour sorted it’s helped massively, I’d recommend anyone with dyslexia to check out ibuntu and see what they can offer to help.
