This was my first eye test in 6 years, and first ever visit to a Vision Express and the whole experience was absolutely fantastic. Genuine, honest people who had a professional, yet friendly, laid back approach, giving a huge sense of warmth throughout the visit. It really felt like a personal service. I had my pre-exam with Abbie, who welcomed me with a warm smile and gave great advice throughout the visit. My eye exam was with Freddy, who went above and beyond my expectations, explaining every aspect of my exam, talking though my retinal photographs and giving me honest advice. They are both an asset to the company, and I would highly recommend this Vision Express for your next eye exam. Brilliant job guys, keep it up.

Well I've never been to vision express opticians before, first time. All the people were friendly, kind, helpful and respectful. If you didn't understand what they meant they explained in a better way, giving you good feedback on glasses and what suited, and I will always go there again .

I have been going to vision express Worcester for 25 years and I wouldn't choose to go anywhere else.The service is always excellent the staff there are professional,friendly and very helpful if you would like some help choosing a style of glasses they are on hand to help you ,as I wear my glasses all the time it is important to me that I like the style and I am always very pleased with my glasses .Sherril is the store manager and she is very nice , and very knowledgeable and heads a lovely team of staff many of which have been there many years so this shows they really enjoy their job and that is why they are enthusiastic and very helpful .I was served this time time by Sarah and Zara who were very helpful .I have recommended Vision express to family and friends and they are also very happy with the service they receive there.

What a fantastic appointment I had at Vision Express last week! A very safe environment and a very friendly and helpful staff attended to me!! Thank you Sim and Fern for making the whole experience so calm and for reassuring me throughout (I’m usually very nervous at the opticians). Everything was explained thoroughly at each stage of my appointment and I came away with fabulous new glasses and contact lenses!! I can honestly say it is the best experience I have ever had in 40 years of going to the opticians!! Thank you team!! I’ll see you in a few weeks for my follow up appointment!!

I was lucky enough to secure a cancelled booking for an eye test on the same day as I walked in to Worcester Vision Express to make an appointment. I liked the open layout as I'm not keen on enclosed spaces, and all the Staff were very helpful and friendly. I hadn't had an eye test before, so the whole process was explained to me clearly at every stage. I particularly liked the relaxed but businesslike feel of the place.

The billing was explained and broken down on the screen. Every option was talked about very honest and budget orientated. Can’t rate the service any higher. I had a very professional experience with my visit to the Worcester branch of Vision Express yesterday. My optician was Freddy, who is one of the most courteous, helpful and professional people I have met. He explained everything excellently and I felt very much at ease. I was then helped by Adele who also explained everything brilliantly and helped me choose my glasses. The shop was almost empty and I noticed that there was someone always cleaning the chairs and tables and also any glasses that had been tried on. I found it a very helpful and safe place to use. I needed some new sunglasses now that we hope to see some better weather. I do a lot of driving for my job so it is important to have a pair for the car. I was supported to discuss if I needed an eye test, which I didn't as not long had one. I was then told about the options with sunglasses, covering all price brackets and then being told how much my prescription lenses would be so I could make a decision around frame price which was helpful. The staff also are keen to help you choose a frame right for you if you want the input and they are knowledgeable and helped me to pick a frame that suited me and that I may not have picked up myself. The staff were all friendly and helpful. I was served by one of the guys and he was really great, however, I have to say all staff were lovely and there's a real friendly feeling in this store. It was busy but I didn't feel rushed. The store was Covid safe and this was good to see. I would recommend to others deffinately. Thanks Vision Express

Specsavers are just not the same.

Vision Express in Worcester is staffed by a team of experts who go out of their way to be be helpful and supportive. Freddy, the optician we see, is professionalism personified - and a good listener too. So very impressed (But . . . see below) Vision Express's Fern (via phone) and then Becky (in-person) impressed me with their pleasant, patient professionalism. I am so pleased that I will be getting replacements more suited to my needs for the inappropriate lenses first recommended. Especially as I thought I'd left it too late to complain because of covid. Also of note is how respectful all of the staff (this time April 2021) were of my exemption from wearing a mask. Previously when I came for the eye test/choosing glasses, I was deeply upset on arrival by the guy who (illegally) challenged me for not wearing a mask and (illegally) demanded to see my exemption card. I protested. Only when in disgust I was about to walk out and go to Boots (who don't subject customers to such illegal unpleasantness) did Sarah the asst mgr intervene. Even then she made excuses for the inappropriate behaviour, saying that the male staff member - and she - "have health issues". I responded, YES, so have I That's why I am exempt! That really upsetting earlier experience put me off telling Vision Express that Sarah had ill-advised me re my new glasses. When the first of the 2 I bought finally arrived, the first time I tried them on I felt sick. Moving on, Fern and Beckie changed my experience of Vision Express from a horribly negative one to a really good positive one. So Vision Express, perhaps you have already retrained your staff at the Worcester office? Anyway, despite that very unpleasant earlier experience, I am SO happy with my last one.

Had my eyes tested by a lovely optician called faiza. She was very caring and patient in these unusual circumstances we are in at the moment. My eye test was very good and I left knowing more information about my test and was handed on to Katie for my glasses dispense. Katie helped me look for a pair of glasses that suited me, and was within my price range. She found me a beautiful blue and purple cat eye style glasses from the miki ninn range and I was delighted. Everything was put through with ease, and even given an invoice so I could claim back from my health insurance. Great experience thank you Katie and faiza.

Had my eye test and bought varifocals with new frames.They duly arrived and didn't feel quite right but I was advised to try them see how I got on and come back to the store if not happy. I returned the following day as something was obviously wrong. The service and help I was given was first class. I had my eyes examined again just to ensure the prescription was right and then assisted by the very professional and helpful Becky who spent time sorting my problem out which she did. The staff couldn't have done more to help. Both myself and my daughter who was with me at the time were extremely impressed with their customer service as a whole. I hardly ever write reviews but felt vision express were 5*.

My daughter had her eyes tested here. When looking at glasses they said 1 pair free and half price for the other.. I told them I would take my prescription to spec savers as 2 pairs free there for kids... all of a sudden I was allowed 2 free pairs... On the returning visit here to collect her new glasses, I was told there would be a 10-15 minute wait, that was fine by me... but nearly an hour later I finally got seen with her. Went in yesterday as my daughter had broken her glasses whilst at school. The assistant manager (Elivia?) served me and when I mentioned they were broken on the hinge she rolled her eyes at another member of staff... how rude can she be... ??? She was abrupt and no customer service skills... needs training!!! Overall experience was rubbish!!! Will take her to Specsavers next time!! I think I will book with them too... as I wear glasses also!!! 😡
