Thanks for your response because it gives me a chance to apologise as I accidentally tapped my phone which sent a response after only touching one star. I didn't know how to fix it. That was the opposite of what I wanted to say! I had a really welcoming experience when I visited to have a painting photographed for the 4Corners Festival recently. I think Accidental Theatre are doing a really great thing to help us explore all kinds of creative experience.

Excellent Theatre with a variety of performances to suit your needs. Also great rehearsal and meeting place if required. All good. @amiddleagedguy

Richard from accidental theatre was very helpful. We had our own space and not rushed. Thank you

Had such a good time here, booked on a whim for the improv comedy and it was great fun. The book bar upstairs is also the cutest things. Would throughly recommend

Love this place. The whole atmosphere and watching the Improv shows. Very nostalgic. Takes me back when I used to be up on that stage.

Went to the Sunday night improv and had a really good time. This theatre is an intimate one, in the audience you really feel part of the show. The Book Bar is very cool. Thoroughly recommend this venue.

A testament to repurposed space. Breaking the chain of expectations in every way. Yes.

Cozy coffee/reading area upstairs, however while the first act of the performance was hilarious, the second was rather disappointing... Thanks to the small size of the audience, we got up close and personal with the stage and actors. Great atmosphere!

Just enjoyed a fantastic show at Accidental Theatre. The book bar is different but there's coffee, soft drinks and non-alcoholic beer for those who don't want to buy a book to get a "free" drink. Only thing i don't like is the toilets. Everyone knows there's always a queue for the ladies at interval, well these are unisex toilets and there are only 2 stalls for everyone so both men and women have to wait. Together. There is an accessible toilet on 1st floor with a lift to access.
In response to the reply by the Theatre, when you get 3 more toilet stalls constructed, and if you keep putting on brilliant shows like 'A View From The Bridge' it'll be 5 stars next time.

Went to see Dr. Frankinstine which was a great production. The layout is great, different height stools gave everyone a great view in a compact theatre. If you've any issues with a stool I'd recommend be there early and get the backed chairs at the front. Upstairs the book bar is a great idea. You've to buy a book to get your drink. Very eclectic mix. I never used the toilets so I'm not sure how accessable they are. Staff are lovely and I really enjoyed my visit.

Innovative theatre repurposing unused space to provide an intimate venue on the edge of South Belfast.

This used to be a bank and has been transformed into a theatre. Great book bar, lots of theatre events, really welcoming little venue showcasing new writing, experimental work, cabaret, readings...there is almost always something happening. Also holds workshops and houses some of Belfast's producing theatre companies. Well worth checking it out- I think once you come once you'll be back lots.

Great improv shows on Friday and Sunday nights. Tragically the last one I attended was very nearly abandoned after a father of three in the audience died laughing. He literally started choking on his own mirth. My eyes caught his and he silently pleaded with me. A shared moment of pure terror. We desperately tried to resuscitate him but he was pronounced dead by the ambulance crew. Heartbreaking. Special mention to the performers who didn't break character once during the whole ordeal which you have to say is absolutely first class and true dedication to the art.

Artist-led grass-roots theatre showcasing original work by local writers, musicians and actors. All kinds of different things put on here, including workshops, comedy nights, cabaret etc. I especially love the improv workshops and regular improv nights. Affordable, welcoming, fun, a great night out.

Book bar was the best thing I've run in to in ages! Instead of buying a drink, you buy a book and get a drink with it. Loved it!!
