Reviews of Windmill Hill City Farm

Absolutely fantastic who created this place in the middle of noisy city. They have plenty of farm animals like sheep, goats, rabbits and the enter is for free. You can sit down for coffee or get any nice food in small farm restaurant. You can also join the club and do some activities for your mental health.

Such a nice place with lots of paths and areas to explore. You wouldn't even know you were in the city.
Plenty of shaded areas on hot days, and spaces to shelter from the rain.
Clean toilets and baby changing facilities.
Absolutely amazing food and love the plants etc on sale!
Thoroughly recommend!

Nice little farm for the kids. It's getting 3 stars from me however, because it's quite noisy due to the fact that it's located in the city, right next to a railway, pub and road which sort of spoils the experience a bit. But overall, I think it's worth the visit.

A really lovely little animal farm located right in the centre of Bristol, once inside you wouldn’t even know you were in the city centre! The entry is free although they are a charity so accept donations.
There are a few different animals on the farm such as sheep, goats, pigs, cows, chickens, rabbits and geese. There’s also some lovely flower gardens and vegetable patches growing every kind of veg you can think of! Fab place to bring children to learn about the animals and growing produce.
Parking is a little tricky as there is not a car park, so you need to find roadside parking. All of the surrounding streets are pretty jam packed, so you may need to walk a little.

The fact this is in the middle of the city is amazing, totally unexpected and my 14 month old loves animals, great afternoon out and the cafe was decent enough with friendly and welcoming staff. Although it is free to visit, I personally think you should atleast donate something, we didn't have cash and the cafe staff essentially gave me cash back which they didn't have to do.

There's no ticket fee to enter, they will ask you for a donation (£4,00 and only POS). There was not much to see, a must only if you plan to stay no less than a hour in this place, cool place for kids to play as long you won't mind the mud and dirt

A place that you can spend really nice time:) There are different types of animals and they also grow their own veggie as well! The cafe is also a nice place to check it out!

I LOVE this place. Everything about it is wonderful, the farm, the café, the nursery. We are so lucky to have such a brilliant community place like this in Bedminster. And well worth a trip from further afield. The kids love it, the food, the cakes the coffee all so good.

A fantastic place to spend a morning or afternoon in with your kids! The cafe is excellent, very baby, toddler and kid friendly as there’s snacks and plenty of food and drink options for the little ones.
When you’re walking around, it doesn’t feel like you’re in the middle of the city. There’s a huge garden with a trail and picnic benches plotted around.
No need to book a ticket, you just show up.

This farm is amazing, don't hesitate to visit it. Plenty to do for children, great café too.
