All my family and I have is praise for White Rose Funerals. Ahmed was brilliant from start to finish in sorting out mums funeral. He is very easy to talk to and caring and would help us with anything requested and very accommodating. We then dealt with AJ who was also as easy to talk to and caring. Definitely recommend these lovely people as they felt like friends throughout the process not a business. Very happy with the service and on the funeral day itself, respectfully walked in front of coffin and rest of staff that day were all very nice and will use again when the need arises. The team here are absolutely brilliant. We initially went to arrange a memorial for my late mother. We were treated with care and compassion from the start. During the process of dealing with my mother's memorial my dad also passed away, so we had to put her memorial on hold. This was fine and dealt with compassionately, nothing was too much trouble for the team. Even though we had a funeral arranged elsewhere for my dad they volunteered to attend simply to offer us support (unfortunately the funeral had already taken place). And even though a lot of time subsequently passed they left the schedule to resume to us with no pressure. We now have a wonderful lasting memorial for both my parents thanks to the guys here. Recommend without hesitation.

Thank you so much for taking care of us especially my father. We were overwhelmed in losing my mother and soon after my brother. We went to enquire about a memorial for my mother's grave. They helped us in getting a beautiful broken heart shaped memorial. The staff were very professional, showed nothing but respect, they were compassionate and patient, we felt the staff treated us like a family member. There were a few issues through no fault of White Rose Funerals but they sorted it, made sure my mother's memorial really was as beautiful as we wanted and my father is very pleased with the result. I lost my dad on the 20th November 2019. We had White Rose Funerals for his funeral and they're such an amazing company. They took care with my dad which we couldn't thank them enough for. All the staff are really lovely, very helpful and friendly. Myself and my family cannot thank them all enough for what they done for us and my dad. He had the best send off that he deserved and it wouldn't have happened if it wasn't for this company. We recently had to use the services of White Rose and whilst this is never something a family wants to do our dad couldn’t have been in better hands. The respect and kindness shown to my mum was incredible and far more than just politeness of providing a service this was heartfelt genuine as. They helped us advised us and guided us through the whole process and made everything so much easier whilst very sensitivity managed. This virus unfortunately robbed us of celebrating dad’s life with dads extended family and friends but Ahmed and his family were incredibly sensitive to that and left us with the comforting knowledge that we had said goodbye in a personal and respectful manner.

A funeral is always a difficult and sometimes unfamiliar occurrence. At a time when families are distanced and arrangements have to be made online or otherwise, rather than face to face, this could have been even more difficult. I can state that from start to finish everything was carried out in a dignified and considerate manner. The caring and professional way White Rose conducted the organisation of the funeral and the final journey, whilst taking our requirements and requests into account was exemplary. The most compassionate caring helpful funeral directors we have ever come across. Right from the start they were extremely respectful and took care of everything for us. They even contacted the florist and made sure that the flowers were exactly what we wanted. The funeral itself was understandably difficult for the family but they supported us right throughout the whole process. White Rose Funerals provided an exceptional service for my family. There is immense gratitude to the team. I would like this feedback to be practical for people who are choosing a funeral provider. This is why I listed below my family's specific requirements when we were making the choice and the results achieved. This is to show how flexible the White Rose team was to accommodate what we as a family needed. My grand mother's , an orthodox Christian Eastern European, last wish was to be cremated and taken back to her home country. In our culture deceased should be buried as soon as possible. In orthodox religion cremation is not the most welcomed alternative, therefore, the religious ceremony could not take place at the crematorium as our priest would not be able to come there. We needed the provider who could accommodate this ceremony. Timeframe We needed the cremation and the ashes to be available in the shortest possible time. White Rose were appointed late on Thursday, they were able to confirm the cremation date during that original discussion. By Thursday morning of the following week the ceremony/ cremation took place. (Cremation paperwork requires extra signatures and time in comparison to the usual burial otherwise it could be done faster). The team also arranged for the ashes to be ready for the Friday morning. (This timeframe is significantly faster then with other providers as I discovered calling different providers when choosing the service). Needless to say that they provided their premises for our religious ceremony and were very accommodating. Funeral Packages I found that most of the providers were rigid with what is in and outside the package and were unwilling to alter even for additional fee. This is especially true for the large chain providers as they need uniformity across the services. I found that you were pushed to go for a more expensive package including things you would not require or simply may not be able to afford just to get one item that you needed. White Rose have packages but as a family owned business they showed flexibility. This goes to every detail. They were even able to arrange an inscription in Russian on the ashes casket. Price wise, and I know for most people it is an important consideration, the packages are very competitive. I personally found White Rose on a price comparison site by googling. Keeping In Contact The team was keeping in contact and available to discuss or arrange everything. Again they showed flexibility. As an example, the office is in Cardiff, I am based in Newport. We were able to arrange a mutual convenient time to meet in Newport rather than me having to go to Cardiff. There was never a situation when you would find yourself having to stick to their office opening hours. Respect to the Family and the Deceased I put it as a last but a very important point. Many people probably experienced it when the service is provided and everything is by the book, but you have a feeling that people are doing their job almost mechanically. This was not the case with White Rose team. They actually cared and it was impossible to miss. This genuine care is priceless in my book.

Recently and suddenly lost my younger brother Daniel, at a loss of what to do, where to go I had to take the reigns as mum was in bits. I called a few funeral directors the family have previously and was given prices of £6000-£7000 was then told to give these guys a call, the last thing I wanted was a budget cheap send off for my little brother so was dubious when given the cos of the funeral, a third of the price of the others, but upon meeting aj, and the rest of them, I felt at ease, from the word go, these guys were amazing, caring, didn't rush us in any way, no hidden costs, open and honest. The big day came, they blew us all away with how much respect they had, walking the car down the street, all bowing to my late brother etc etc. They gave Daniel one of the best funerals I have ever been too. They even offer aftercare with fully trained staff for all your needs. I could never thank these guys enough for how special they made the day. At the end, you almost feel like family. Once again, I'd like to take this opportunity to say thankyou all so much. You are an amazing bunch. You should be proud of how good you actually are. 🙏 Thankyou.
