b. y.Nice walk around Hatfield moors, plenty of wildlife to see.
C. H.Saw a Marsh Harrier from 5ft away when we rounded a corner and startled it. A beautiful pocket of wilderness tucked away yet close to Doncaster and the motorway network. Well worth a visit if you are interested in fauna and flora

C. S.Hatfield moor has better access, but Thorne moors is beautifully secluded, once you get past the old colliery tip. There's a footpath from Grange Road in Moorends or from Crowle at the other side.
S. R.Very wet in parts after the flooding. Great area to escape the rat race. A surprising find. I will re explore in better weather
