Delighted with installation of three column radiators,and replacement pipework, and thermostatic valves by First Gas Services, all work carried out to a high standard and very neat and tidy. We discovered First Gas Solutions when they happened to be working next door and came in to help us get our heating back up and running. They did it just to be nice and did not bill us for their time even though it took a while and was quite late at night. Therefore, we decided to use them when we bought our new house and they came to do a landlords inspection of the gas system which was required at short notice. They came on time and worked quickly and gave us good feedback. They even gave the boiler a mini service for free as they were there already. All in a great company with very nice engineers and staff.

We required a service and fixing a hot water issue at the same time. Several elements were impressive: There was excellent communication throughout the process, with an earlier time slot allocated when there was a cancellation space. The engineer came on time and carried out work to a high standard. There was a slight issue which appeared just after completion of the job which was attended to instantly and without quibble. The price was fair and the pricing structure was transparent.

I received an e-mail from my Tenants regarding a minor plumbing problem that they had whilst I was was on holiday in Tenerife on a Sunday. I forwarded the e-mail to First Gas and asked them to attend to the issue. I received an email the next day from First Gas to say that they had contacted the tenants and booked it in for next day. The next day I received an email from First Gas with the bill which was very reasonable and explained what work the engineer had done. All relatively painless! Like most landlords I have dealt with some awful contractors in the past and am very glad to have found a Gas engineer and Plumber who is professional, reliable and competitively priced. I can't recommend First Gas highly enough.

You know a good trades person not when everything goes well, but when something goes wrong and how it is rectified. First Gas Services made a small mistake while installing a shower, but immediately organized the repair. Well done guys.

First gas fitted our Samsung cooker. They were quick and had the cooker all up and running in 20 mins. The charges were reasonable and the service so good that I called them out again to fit our new kitchen taps. Again on time the day they said and had the water flowing again in no time. I was very impressed with First Gas. I requested 2 legionella risk assesements at short notice and they managed to fit both jobs in. The jobs were scheduled between 9-10am but on the day this changed to between 10 and 10.30am . I was kept informed. Pity more tradesmen didnt advise customers like this !
