W. M.A very fun experience but you’d be doing well to make a day of it unless you bring a picnic etc and go to the waterworks museum too. Very handy if you live locally and it’s good to see the enthusiasm of all of the kind volunteers.
G. P.This is a really nice place to bring the family, especially on a sunny summer weekend afternoon. They have several different trains running around the main track and they do a few loops including a separate switch track that goes over a little bridge and through a tunnel. They also have a smaller, raised track with a little engine, we didn't go on this one as we only stayed a short time. It was very busy when we visited, so there was a bit of a wait in a queue. They have picnic tables available, so you could always bring some food and drinks and watch the trains going round whilst waiting. We'll definitely be coming back here another weekend and spending a bit more time having a proper look around. Tickets were only £1.50 per person, per ride (they do have a discounted family ticket available though)
