What can I say from the wonderfully warm welcome to the pristine gardens we were wowed from start to finish. The beautifully illustrated map and audio guide were amazingly informative. It was so nice to hear about the history and thought process behind the gardens. I can highly reccomned a visit here....a definite must see in the area. Thankyou for having us

The gardens are lovely. The audio tour is great. You can spend as long as you like mooching in the different areas. My only criticism is that it needs a cafe. With a cafe I would have given it 5 stars.

I visited The Laskett gardens yesterday morning (July 27th). I was absolutely bowled over by their beauty, tranquillity, wonderful theatrical flair and completely absorbing quality. To listen to Sir Roy Strong speaking in his lovely modulated tone on that very clever little electronic gadget I was given, telling me the story of the garden was idyllic. I felt as if Sir Roy was there, ushering me from room to room in his and his wife's wonderful achievement at The Laskett.
Lovely also to be met by the gentleman, the Head Gardener, who was extremely friendly and pleasant and told us some interesting and enjoyable facts about Sir Roy and his garden. One of the most outstanding gardens I have ever visited. I have now ordered Sir Roy Strong's book about the garden and a few of his numerous other publications. Sincere thanks for making such a very special July morning for me.

So many peaceful areas to take in the beauty of the lovely garden. The garden is very pleasant ,reflecting the careers of Sir Roy and his late wife.

Too messy, chaotic and lacking structure for me, nobody working in garden and it desperately needs weeding and the topiary clippings. No refreshments, no shop, missing its chances.

Stunning gardens set out as rooms, each so different. The owner was walking around and chatted about the planting. The gardeners were very helpful with names of plants .The views were terrific, easy to reach from the A49.Plants on sale and small shop. Was open day in aid of St Michael's hospice so was crowded.Car park is a field almost opposite so easy access.

NGS open gardens scheme day. A great insight into hard landscape and plant combinations. A real eye opener as to what can be done.
